I am so glad I found this car seat. My 6 year old is 105 pounds and 51” tall. He has low muscle tone which makes it hard for him to sit up. This seat is perfect : it’s wide enough he can sit comfortably, it has him up a bit higher the his last so the seat belt sits correctly and it has a slight incline towards the back of the seat so he can sit and relax. It has a wonder latch system that was easy to install in just seconds. It is also easy to uninstall and move for car to car. It’s light weight and easy to clean! This is and over all amazing car seat it is sturdy enough for our bigger kiddos for sure!

As usual Diono delivered a quality product with perfect fitment. Decent padding, Light, easy to use, and a great price. The only con is the cup holder, it’s a bit small to fit anything but a juice box.

I bought this and the Chicco GoFit Plus, and ultimately had to return the Diono. The look and quality is great, but the back is very flat and wide and my car (Tesla Model 3) has a curve to the back seat which makes it so this sits too far to the center of the car and makes it difficult\impossible to buckle the belt. Probably doable for an adult, but I'm pretty sure my 5yo wouldn't be able to to it themselves. The Chicco overall width is similar, but the back is effectively curved so it fit better with my seat (see picture for the two boosters back to back). The Diono has a slightly wider seating area, so might be better for wider kids. Ultimately the Diono probably works great for a minivan, SUV or pickup back seat with a bench, but not anything mid size or smaller.

Have been searching for a wide booster for my nephew. He had always complained about his previous seats being too tight and uncomfortable to ride in. So far we’ve determined that it is perfect for my truck (F250) as it fits perfectly and he’s able to buckle in without the seatbelt being obstructed. I ended up buying 2 more for our other vehicles (300, Charger) It is a little more difficult for him to buckle in those backseats as the width runs over the buckle. With assistance, it’s no issue but I like to allow the kids to buckle themselves and I just come in to test the straps and adjust as needed. He likes that both sides have fold out cup holders. Comfortable cushion. Would recommend for larger seats.

So my little girl who is nine is on the petite side for sure, and did not want a high back booster anymore. I confirmed with the pediatrician that it was OK to switch over because I’m always airing on the side of caution. I am a nurse, what can I say? I was a little skeptical because I wasn’t sure how it would fit, and if it would be comfortable based on a couple of the conflicting reviews but I have to tell you that I am so impressed! I am fully confident in the safety and love how comfortable it is for my daughter! It has a removable cover if we need to wash it. I also love the cupholders as an added bonus. I have a 2018 Toyota forerunner and it fits perfectly in the back. It also fits perfectly in my husbands GMC truck. I have not tried it out on a smaller vehicle but I don’t think it would be a huge difference as far as the fit is concerned I actually think I’m going to buy another one to put in Grandma’s Honda. I definitely did my research, and I am very happy with my purchase, and my being reluctance to change from a high-back booster to just a booster, was eased with this purchase. If you were on the fence like I was, I can tell you that you just have to think of it like this, it’s Amazon, if you don’t like it, or it doesn’t fit, just return it!

We have bought multiple Diono products over the years given their high quality and this booster seat similarly doesn't disappoint. We bought it in blue as blue is our son's favorite colour. He was thrilled with how it looked. The booster itself is lightweight for its size and yet feels sturdy and high quality. If you have used LATCH anchors before, installation will be a breeze. If you haven't used them before, it will still be a breeze. Removal is also a simple process. The only watch out is this is a large booster seat. We cannot use it in our small hatchback bc the unit impedes the seatbelt from connecting properly. This booster should fit comfortably, however, in any sedan and easily in any SUV (we have it installed in our compact SUV). Overall, a solid purchase that we are happy with!

This seat is great, the only issue was ours - we thought we had LATCH connectors in our car and we don't, so could have got the cheaper seat without them (whoops). The manual assured that the seat is safe without LATCH as long as it remains belted in even when not in use etc in case it comes loose in an accident. Otherwise, this is a very nice seat. I was surprised at how wide it is, it will work well even for larger kids/preteens etc. We bought it for my almost-10 year old who is on the small side of average, and it works well for them as well. My husband installed it, he said other than the lack of LATCH connectors in our car it installed quickly and easily. On a less important note, I really like the pink colour!
