G-TECH DIGITAL IR THERMOMETER(INDUSTRIAL USE)

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this thermometer in February and used it today the third time. First time I gave it a benefit of doubt thinking I may have used it incorrectly. Yesterday, I tempered chocolate, where the reading has to be very very specific, 45, 29 and 32. And my chocolate got spoilt. It wasn't tempered correctly. So today I boiled sugar and needed to do so until it was 116-118 degrees. But imagine the sugar boiled, all the water also evaporated and it turned back into crystals but the thermometer struggled between 88-91 then going back to even 77(which boiling thing becomes cold even during constant heating?) And finally reached 100 and by this time the sugar had even crystallized! This thermometer is not correct and not trustworthy.This is a very specific device meant for only specific use. If it doesn't read temperature correctly, it's useless.I am ashamed, shocked and highly disappointed at the Amazon Customer service also who have washed off their hands by saying return window is closed and we cannot do anything!

doesn't serve the purpose . 6 degree celsius variation. shows almost 5-6 degree celsius less than actual temperature. senses temperature in the area lower than the red pointer ( not in the pointer area)
