Easy to teach children
I really do not like to give my opinions on products. This product I definitely have to. I was going to return it. I changed my mine. I am going to buy again.Definitely worth to buy, do not hesitate. Students quickly identify the number and have the understanding of quantity of each number.Makes your lesson plan a easier.

Simple yet very useful puzzle
I got this puzzle for a boy who has just turned 4. He plays with numbers 1-10 only so far as that is what he had been introduced to and it definitely helps him to practice number recognition and counting (he does not attempt to assemble random pieces but it definitely is useful that this puzzle is a self-correct type). The pictures and the print are good quality, the colors are vibrant, the pieces are pretty sturdy and fit well together when they should, do not fit at all when they shouldn’t.My only complaint is that there is nothing to make it easier for kids to tell which side of a number piece is the top and which is the bottom - for kids who don’t know the numbers names and shapes by heart yet, it may be difficult to easily spot the difference between 6 and 9 for example - obviously, they will eventually see that it is on the wrong side if they try to put them together but there should be no confusion at all.I wish there was a black line or something on the bottom of each piece for that reason (also, an almost 3 year old girl who likes to join her brother in play, ends up putting the pieces /connected pairs/ sideways or upside down... the line would help her, too)I was able to fix that issue myself though, using sharpies :)

Toy is adjacent to storytime.
Reason for purchase:After moving 4 hours away from my 3 year old (turning 4 this month) godson I started thinking outside the box. I researched STEM toy & book subscription boxes & found the age gap was too wide to consistently get age appropriate toys/books. I decided to make my own. I feel it necessary to disclose this is a time consuming project & it can be as inexpensive or expensive in price as you choose. It's entirely dependent on you.In my box:The Crayons: A Set of Books and Finger Puppets & The Learning Journey: Match It! - Counting - Self-Correcting Number & Learn to Count Puzzle.Product Review:The Learning Journey: Match It! - Counting - Self-Correcting Number & Learn to Count Puzzle was an inexpensive toy that went well with The Crayons Book of Numbers book. It's a simple but effective toy to practice numbers. My godson's interest in the toy seems to have limited entertainment value. Anytime a book about numbers is on the story time agenda the toy is used. He'll listen to the story wait for the numbers & pull out that puzzle card to show his mother or me via facetime he understands the number 2 is correspondent to the #2 puzzle & so on.I suspect the toy's limited shelf life is being extended by the learn your number type books.Recommendation:I'm not sure how interesting the toy would be alone in your household. I wouldn't recommend the toy as a gift. It was simply packaged & truly unimpressive alone. For my purposes I give it a 5 star rating.

Great for learning
This has been a great activity for my four year old. He loves counting the objects and finding the number to match. Definitely recommend!

Only goes to 20
This puzzle is cute but based on the description I thought it went up to 30 but that’s not the case. There are 2 sets of 1-10 and 1 of 11-20 for some reason.

Good pictures and big puzzle pieces
So much you can do with these. The have numbers, colors, matching and different objects. My nephew loves all of that. He played with them the moment he opened them. Some of the objects are difficult to explain to a 2 year old. They are big, thick puzzle pieces which is fantastic.

Makes learning fun
The kid is satisfied and happy & excited to use these by himself. That’s good for me. After the initial pull apart tho, they don’t fit back as tightly but that is expected and doesn’t negate the job I need it to do: which is educational purposes. Good in my book.
