Perfect cast iron griddle. Say goodbye to non-stick!
Finally a cast iron griddle. Was tired of non-stick forever chemicals and poor heat zones. I had this for a while now. Just like a cast iron skillet it takes a good 2-3 mins to heat up. I typically turn it on before I mix pancake batter. It’s heavy, solid and ment to last. (It better!) Pros: naturally non stick cast iron. Design is perfect, with well placed drain hole. I can cook 6 pancakes at a time. Heats evenly, no cold or hot spots. The rim on the edge helps prevent food rolling off. Top cast iron pan is separate and can be cleaned. Note: do not soak. And season the surface. That means clean, remove food, heat up and put a little oil on cooking area before every put away. Take care of it. Cons: the cool down. You have to wait a good 20 mins for it to cooldown before putting away. It weights a bit. Not too heavy but it’s not a one hand lift out of the cabinet. Bonus: it’s a griddle plug in the wall. So that way the stove is free. For me it’s a solid functional piece of equipment for my kitchen used multiple times a week. Image blue berry pancakes

Works great
Great cast iron electrical grill. I find it much more practical to use than throwing a cast iron grill on a gas stovetop. Seems to heat up faster andmore evenly. That said, the left side gets warmer than the right side.. probably makes better contact w/ the heating elements. I use a thermal thermometer so it's not an issue for me anyway, I keep a close eye on the actual surface temperature. Works great for bacon, hot dogs, pancakes, etc. Fried eggs work well too.. scrambled, well they get everywhere. really like it, and again, no non-stick nonsense here. Just season/cure the cast iron properly and it will last a long time. (i.e. read the instructions so you know how to properly care for cast iron)

Excellent Product!
This stays on my counter! I use this daily! If I need to put it away I have a designated spot for it. But it’s my daily go to appliance ! I wish I had bought it years ago! The fact that it’s cast iron is an amazing product! Especially if you have a glass top stove….which I dislike. The size is just right for cooking bacon, steaks, hamburgers , grilled sandwiches ,tacos, grilled veggies, pancakes etc. If you’re like me and prep cook for fast meals this is a great appliance for getting things done in bulk. It’s worth the money spent! The base is a dark silver color looks nice along with stainless steel and black decor . It’s easy to keep clean if you know the basics of upkeep on the using a standard griddle or cast iron pots and pans . I suggest other items to buy for upkeep and easy use. 1. Buy a 2 sided spatter screen. (And a large and tall one as it makes clean up minimal. The splatter screens wipe clean easily with soap. I suggest that you use as hot water water as possible to rinse.) 2. Buy yourself a griddle accessories kit , Amazon has an 18 piece set ,stainless steel set. I think for $26.79 prime right now . The nice part of that it has everything you need. 3. I bought a wood cutting board to keep under the griddle. 4. I bought a wood cutting board to fit my glass top stove if I’m cooking things that tend to smoke . So the smell/ smoke goes directly up to the exhaust fan. The cons: The griddle is HEAVY, be sure you wait till it has cooled down before trying to pick it up to wash. Suggestion: take the time to scrape off cooked on pieces before the griddle cools down completely,it makes it easier to clean. If you have double sinks in your kitchen , washing the griddle may not be easy to wash as its heavy... I have a single tub sink and it’s a breeze to wash. Last suggestion: measure your space even though it’s as wide as a toaster oven, the splatter goes beyond that space. I have 2 sets of splatter screens for that reason. Hope this helps.

Griddle outpaces the base but good overall.
Base is the weakest link. For how substantial the cooking surface is, a heavier-duty platform would’ve made more sense. Definitely not “commercial” grade, but heats evenly, cooks well and easy to clean. Comes seasoned, but opted to scrub it clean and start from scratch and have had no issues.

Absolutely love it !
I was looking for a nontoxic griddle and this is it ! Its cast iron and it heats evenly. My last griddle was nonstick toxic stuff and it did NOT heat evenly so food in certain areas of the griddle would cook faster. Because this is cast iron the whole thing heats evenly and it works awesome! Ive made pancakes, smash burgers and so much more on it and i absolutely Love it ! Its very easy to clean but as expected the cast iron griddle is very heavy. It lifts off the top so you can clean or wash it. Its not a huge deal considering how well it works but I Definitely wouldn't recommend for someone elderly or weak.

My Favorite Griddle
I've had several George Foremans, a couple Cuisenarts, and some other one that lasted all of a month, but THIS thing is a tank! Season it right and it'll last forever. Stats - I use this at least once a day to make breakfast (sausage and bacon) and maybe cook up hamburgers and hotdogs once a week or so. I clean it with just water and a cloth while its still warm and reseason once every 2 weeks at this point. Cleanup is quick and easy, just remember to empty the grease trap to avoid a mess. It cooks pretty evenly though heat falls off slightly at the edges. Had this for several months now but still looks brand new. Cooking plate it removable but its cast iron, so please don't put it in the dishwasher! This was the griddle I've always wanted.
