Built to last!!! And keeps coffee hot for hours!!
This is great french press!! I was looking at other big name brands with high prices but some of the parts on those were plastic. This French press is all metal except for the rubber seal. It makes a good cup of coffee and no bits get past the press. It’s feels like it will be past down to my kids how well it is built

Reclaimed my kitchen counter space!
Albeit my first ever press, I am impressed with the quality. After years on the electric drip & fast k-cup circuit, I’ve switched over to the press. I’m sipping on my first brew of chai coffee which is still the perfect temperature from the initial pore.Arrived in a sturdy box and wrapped in its own cloth bag. Quite easy to use. Instructions are printed on outside of box. Lid can be turned to a closed position to help keep contents hot. Easy to clean and easy to store. This sleek and sturdy press has made me a very happy convert!

This French press is built for generations!
I've had it with glass French press beakers. I'm tired of breaking them, cutting myself and needing to replace them at some crazy cost. This is definitely the last french press I'll ever buy for myself. It's massive! Rugged enough to knock out a burglar, yet meticulous enough to brew your favorite coffee to perfection. The craftsmanship is definitely not one for the price. With it's thick stainless steel, it's clean lines, tight clearances and awfully impressive and consistent welds, this thing should cost AT LEAST $50. This French press is made to last!

First one arrived defective but second one was perfect
Update. The replacement arrived today and the seal is in good condition. This is becoming our favorite French press ever. It’s super sturdy, strains the grinds perfectly and keeps the coffee hot. It makes 4 mugs of coffee, which is just perfect for us.This was a Christmas gift for my husband. He had been wanting a slightly larger French press than the one we have, and this was exactly the size he needed. It arrived, and I wrapped it. Upon opening it for Christmas, he found a melted and miss formed rubber gasket. He assumed that it was packing purposes to keep the lid from wiggling, but upon further inspection we realized it was meant to be a seal to help keep heat in. We are returning it and ordering a new one, and hopefully the second will arrive with the seal not melted and mangled. Aside from that, construction seems to be fine. It’s not the prettiest press out there but it’s the only one I could find in this exact size.

Its a heavy duty beast
I gave it a 5 star even though it doesnt keep coffee hot for 4 hours. after 2 hours It keeps coffee hot enough to where my creamer doesnt ball up when i make my second cup. . It still steams a little after two hours. Its a heavy duty beast and its built really well. It keeps coffee hot twice as long as other stainless steel french presses ive bought. Just not for 4 hours.

Awesome company awesome products
I purchased the Butte percolator and was thoroughly impressed. They have a special flute design in the neck which actually regulates the perk for a truly delicious cup of coffee.I then ordered a French press for my grandson. Pure quality! The only issue I had was when it was delivered from Amazon. The box was smashed but the product was still in great shape. It was good the rigors of Amazon. I contacted the company and they immediately got back in touch with me because of the damage to the box. Thank you coletti Great manufacturer of quality coffee products.

This thing is HEAVY DUTY!
I bought this for my wife so that she can enjoy French press coffee when we go car camping. This thing is built like a tank! I think you could run over it with your car without damaging it - it's that sturdy! My wife also said it makes good coffee. Only downside: the plunger components don't come apart for cleaning, which is unusual (or so she tells me). Also, ours has what looks like a manufacturing defect along the bottom edge in one area. It looks like someone used a grinder or something to try and smooth it out for some reason, and wound up making it looks like it's damaged. But that's not noticeable unless you turn it upside-down, and it doesn't affect performance, so I'm not deducting any stars.All-in-all a solid product that I expect will last a lifetime. I just hope they exercise a little better quality control during manufacturing.

Made in China
I promise I'm not a kook, just a dude who expects quality goods that dont have to be imported from half way around the world to make a quick buck. The company which states it is owned by several combat war dogs has outsourced their product manufacturing to China (I bet they wrote a book too). I'd be more upset about this if the thing were hundreds of dollars, but it's not, so I will remain mildly miffed. I searched and searched for a completely stainless, no plastic, NON-China made press and could not find one, so I settled on this. The welds are a bit sloppy and of the two that I ordered, one had a hole in the seam from the welding process which I can only assume will allow water in over time. Aside from being made in China and some relatively low quality welds, that is were the negatives end.Onto the positives. This thing is a freaking boat anchor, or at very least could be used as one in a pinch. No chance that this bad boy will fall apart, if it does, I recommend running away from what ever made it fall apart. Its sizable enough for about 3 American size cups of Coffee per brew and the double walls do keep the joe warm for an extended period of time which is nice for lazy Sundays.I havent had any issues with grounds escaping. There is no plastic on the unit, just chineesium and silicone. Given it is a food grade item, I would have liked to see at very least a metal designator on the bottom stating the type of metal that the product is made from, but hey pretty sure micro plastics are going to get us all anyway. To the company owners, I would be more than happy to pay big American money for a big American product, and I dont think I'm alone on that front. But at the current price point, I cant really complain. Keep on keepin on.
