I think this review is long overdue. My old bulb burned out a few months ago and I bought this one to replace it. A little more expensive then your generic brand but I always thought Philips was a good brand so it's worth the extra money. Straight forward installation, went in smoothly. Its brighter than my old bulb which is a plus, maybe my old bulb was just going out. It's been a few months now and so far it's lasting.

Shipping was fairly fast. Got here nicely packed. Longevity cant tell yet. The bulb does emit very similar blue tint light.

Great replacement for no-name OEM bulbs in air purifier
These bulbs are a direct replacement for OEM bulbs in the Asept-Air LIFE CELL 1550UV air purifier. Same specs, same size. OEM bulbs do not have markings of any kind so I had to do some research to arrive at this correct bulb, which can be sourced from many vendors.
