Use it in hot beverages and blend with an immersion blender
I don’t usually review products but felt compelled to share some positive feedback because this product is has been a life saver for me.I have some autoimmune issues and have been on the Autoimmune Anti Inflammatory Protocol (AIP) for the past 4 years. I’ve found workarounds for a lot of “traditional” foods but protein was a challenge. Collagen protein only takes you so far.As another reviewer mentioned - it’s important to have the right expectations; while it doesn’t taste like beef, it is definitely more hearty. Yes you can blend it in soups but I honestly think any hot drink application will suit this product very well. My personal favorite:1 scoop protein16oz hot water1 teaspoon matcha powder1 teaspoon thyme honeyA pinch of salt to round everything outBLEND WITH IMMERSION BLENDERFroths up really nice and tastes just like a matcha latte :)I also have had no issues with digestion/upset stomach and I’m usually prone to those because of my autoimmune issues. If you’re on the fence please do give it a shot.

DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING AND INGREDIENTS !
I bought this product with the thought it had minimal additives and ingredients, and that it was beef protein , not whey .The taste wasn't too bad , but it definitely clumps up, doesn't mix well at all. I was even ok with them using Stevia as the sweetening agent, but after further investigation hidden in the Natural Flavors . They also add Sucralose. No where in their advertising or list of ingredients does it say this. Sucralose, a common artificial sweetener sold under the brand name Splenda, has been linked to a range of potential side effects.. These include altering glucose and insulin levels, increasing the risk of digestive problems, and potentially impacting gut health. Some studies also suggest a possible link between sucralose and an increased risk of certain cancers. Additionally, sucralose may reduce the effectiveness of some medications and can lead to increased appetite . Sucralose is Man-made, not Natural. Don't by this crap ! Buyer beware, I threw what I had left in the garbage!

Happy with it
Seems like great protein powder. Meat based. I notice I'm only motivated to use it when I'm exercising to the point of real muscle burn. My body seems to bring it into my mind at such moments. There is a slight taste of burned meat, but that sounds much worse than it really is. I use other items, they cover it, and if not, I add a bit of hot chocolate mix. I don't have the sense that bit of funny flavor is harmful. But you can decide for yourself.

OK Taste - Description and Packaging Issues
Flavor is ok, its one of those things that the first sip you take does not taste good, but after the first few sips it tastes better and better. Froths up like crazy and does not blend well in a shaker. The froth has the worst flavor, so you have to let it settle down for a few minutes before drinking. I haven't noticed any stomach concerns, however I have an iron stomach and am not phased by much.Only concerning thing is the labeling and description. In the product page, it says in one place 29g of protein per serving, another says 32g. One part of the description (and the actual packaging) says its made in the USA, another part of the description says its from Sweden. Its advertised as 0g fat 0g carb, but the nutrition label on the package I got has 2g of carbs, not a huge deal but inconsistencies like that worry me.

Bring back the old formula
They changed the formula within the last year or two. The old formula was awesome. Mixed very well and every flavor tasted awesome. Used it to make ice-cream in the ninja creami almost every night. This new formula is terrible. Doesn't mix well at all. Even in the blender it becomes extremely frothy. Even tried adding it to oatmeal and its not good. Please bring back the old formula!

Almost Perfect Dairy Free Protein Powder
(this is for the Chocolate Fudge Brownie flavour - I have not tried others)The people on here complaining about the flavour have clearly not experimented too much with non-dairy protein powders. I have tried SO many different protein powders. I have followed a vegan diet in the past and used many different vegan powders, and I have also been a competitive bodybuilder and used many different kinds of whey and casein powders. This is, hands down, the best *non-dairy* protein powder I have used - both texturally and flavour. Like a previous review said - if you are looking for this to essentially taste like a child's milkshake, then you wont be pleased (but bear in mind all the things that make it taste that great are probably not great for you). This protein powder tastes good. You're not going to write home about it, but it IS good. And it mixes beautifully, and has a smooth texture (unlike every horrible vegan protein powder out there). But the best part is that it does not upset my stomach. I have a very sensitive stomach and currently have to follow a carnivore diet because of it, and this protein powder is seriously a miracle for me.I have also heard great things about the customization options that this brand has through their website, but I have yet to check that out. Will definitely be ordering the 5lb bag!I merely say it's not perfect only because I'm not a huge fan of stevia or sunflower lecithan, but I also understand that sometimes options are limited when you are creating specialty items, and based on my stomach's reactions I would say those ingredients are minimal.

Disgusting taste and consistency
do not purchase. this literally tastes like the smell of raw meat. and if you put it in a smoothie and let it sit for 10 minutes it turns into this thick paste. tried putting it in water and chugging it and could barely do it. tried getting a clean low ingredient protein powder but this is not worth it.
