Just as pictured love it.

I liked it. Is easy to assemble, so easy that while I was working my son (10 yrs old) got curious, opened the box, and put the whole thing together quickly without issues. The middle part has velcro, so you need to carefully install it. That part my son put it but I just had to fix it to make sure it aligned. It was well packed and came undamaged. It is simple feux leather material, it doesn't have a silver finish as it appears in the picture. However, I was aware given the other reviews, and that is what I wanted. The ottoman weights aprox 25 pounds (weight when it arrived in the package) and it holds me and my son sitting together on top of it (combined we are aprox 250 pounds). We are using it to store a 12x12 container with dog food and dog pads (box has 150 pads), the extra dog bed, etc, everything my son uses for his dog is in there. The lid is the heaviest, but just enough to keep everything in place. My son can take the lid off and put it back on without issues every day twice a day when he is taking care of the dog. My son likes having everything in one place and is very happy with this ottoman because everything fits inside and he no longer has to go around looking for stuff. It looks good.

Seems to work just fine.When that package came, I thought something was wrong. The box is about the size of the lid by itself. And when I opened the box, EVERYTHING was packed inside the lid. However, it was put together. When I removed it from the lid, it folded out into the complete lower section of the bench. All I had to do was stick the hard bottom panel inside it and fasten the center divider in place with Velcro. Assembly time was less than one minute.At first I thought this would never be strong enough to sit on. However, I'm 6'2" and about 230 lbs. And when I sat on it, it was extremely solid. It's hard to believe but this bench appears to have been engineered "just right". And I feel confident that I can sit on this bench and put on my shoes whenever I want. However, if I jumped up and down on top of it, that might be another story. I'd say it's fairly close to the quality you might expect if you went to Ikea. It's light and cheap but well designed and well made. Overall, I'm very happy with this storage bench for the $41 I paid for it.As a side note, the lid does not have hinges. It just fits on top. But again, it fits very well and securely.

What I love about my new Ottoman is that it was so easy to assemble! I'm a busy mom and don't have much time to spare. It only took me about 5 minutes to assemble this. All by myself! Knowing how my kids are, I knew I needed something sturdy yet elegant, durable. Not only can this hold me but it also can hold my kids along with me. I wanted to test out how durable the Ottoman is. My kids climb on it and I can sit on it and it's definitely very sturdy. I would highly recommend this ottoman if you need something easy to assemble, provide the sturdiness and if you need A LOT of storage space. Fits all of my TV remotes, gaming remotes, games and a weighted medium sized blanket on one side. The other side is empty and still has a lot of storage. Very easy to clean! I think for the price you pay it's worth every penny.

We have two large black ones and a medium black one and a medium Suede-ish teal one ( and a small brown one ) and they are very convenient for your feet, for storage of sheets, clothes, throw blankets, extra pillows & to use as a table for drinks or laptop/desktop. We use one as a sitting bench at a long folding table behind our sectional in order to comfortably eat and watch television. We have two to move around in the family room as needed and one at the front of the room to hold DVDs and games . Also like to use it as others have where when it’s unused on top it looks like a window seat -prop some nice pillows on it. When winter comes we might either buy another one or use one we already have for getting in and out of winter boots. If it’s on carpet (& maybe wood too) I recommend you get some sliders to put under the corners so that you can easily move it around (feels like wheels) especially if it has stuff inside .

The product itself is fine, nothing amazing or non-satisfactory but holy cow, they must have dipped it in paint remover or something because the chemical smell coming from it took weeks to go away...

Very good quality, looks like genuine leather.Good fit & finish, top sits perfectly, good seating as well.Stores all my seasonal bedding & pillows.

Hangs out at the foot of our bed. We put our clothes in it. Love it
