Why is there so much sodium?

Used as directed with a healthly balanced diet you should be well within daily guidelines for salt intake (approx 6g depending). It's worth noting that 1g salt is 387mg sodium. And also that more active people may actually need more to replenish sodium and other electrolytes. Hope this is helpful.

Hello, thank you for the question. Per 40g serving our Performance Protein Vanilla has 0.4g of carbohydrates (of which 0g are sugar). The Performance Protein Chocolate Peanut and Tiramisu flavors have 2g carbs (of which 0.1g are sugar) per 40g serving. We hope this helps.
