BaByliss Rose Quartz Tight Curls Wand, Black, 2249U

My daughter wanted a chopstick curler so I decided to try this set as they were branded and reasonably priced. When they arrived my daughter wanted to try it straight away, she’s got fine straight hair - we’ve struggled to curl it in the past as the curls drop out too quick. I wrapped her hair round the curler barrel and on releasing the hair it left a perfect tight spiral curl just like ringlets, my daughter has shoulder length hair, by the time I’ve wrapped a section round the barrel it’s time to release the hair, less than a couple of seconds is enough to curl the hair. The first time I used the curlers the results weren’t great which was mainly down to my technique (or lack of technique) I just grabbed random sized pieces of hair so the next time I used them I used a comb and sectioned all the hair first. I sectioned her whole head into thin 1inch wide pieces of hair which curled so much better and the end result was a lot neater and the curls lasted until she washed her hair 2 days later. In summary you can’t curl huge sections of hair you have to section it off, if you have fine hair it will curl faster and the curls will hold longer, if you have thicker hair you’ll have to section it into thin pieces and probably hold the hair round the barrel for a few seconds more. Can’t fault the curlers, they work, they were reasonably cheap but still good quality, they have a red light to show they’re on, there are 9 heat settings, the thermostat works well they stay at a constant heat they don’t get hotter and hotter the longer they’re on and the heat mat and heat protective glove which are included make them easier to use - I give them 10 out of 10!

Amazing curling wand for tight curls. Depending on how tight you wrap them around the wand you can be flexible with which type of curl suits your needs. It heats up super quickly and I wish I would have bought it sooner! It traveled with me all summer for work to support the rebellious curls which didn't wanna naturally curl and made them blend in with the rest of my hair. Brilliant device. Super easy to use, not heavy, perfect size. I LOVE IT! I barely ever leave a review, but this curl wand by babyliss is my saving grace! I would wholeheartedly recommend it!

This is the best bargain I've bought all year!!!! Can't believe how cheap it is, the wand is so good, made well, I love the fact you can change the heat settings on it too. So easy to use and the little plastic tip prevents me from burning myself! Comes with a heat proof glove but I never use them anyway, I do use the heat proof matt it came with to store it after use! I used it for the first time Saturday, and my hair still looks good 3 days later! The curls hold so well. So impressed

It's so awkward to hold in hand, you get a sore arm and hand, easy to burn yourself, doesn't get close into the root so looked a bit silly having some of the root hair straight and the rest curly, the curls it does produce are pretty nice though, constantly moves off the heat protector Matt which is super cheap, the biggest con is the length, it's just not long enough, I have medium length hair, just past my chest and it's too long, I have to constantly take the hair off and try to reravel it multiple times to try and get all the hair on, it's so much effort to do, I've had another chopstick curler that had a much longer barrel and far more easier to use

I am very impressed with this product, I have shoulder length, fine hair and have always struggled to get my hair to last curly . I have tried everything, including having it styled and curled at hair salons but it would just drop out by the time I got home . With the Babyliss Curl Wand , not just did it last all day , full and curly, but I woke up the next morning and still had curly hair. I would definetly recommend this product. It comes with a mat and glove, which I couldnt have curled my hair without. And you can control the heat depending on your hair type. Brilliant Curling Wand !!!

This is a lovely curling wand. It creates the right little corkscrew curls. Only need to hold your hair on the wand for a few seconds and voilà! I also own a couple of GHD wands and my stubborn hair holds these little curls from the BaByliss wand the best. Using it on the lowest setting as well. You get a great little heat protective glove (a must while you get used to using a wand) and a small heat protective mat. Cannot fault the wand - great purchase!

Very happy with product it's lightweight and makes nice tight curls. Good purchase. Would recommend to others.

Im not usually one to write reviews but this deserved one. Only wand to ever curl my hair and actually last. My hair is very very long and its so easy to use. Impressed with the glove and resting mat! The pictures so show curls that was not yet seperated. Highly recommend especially for the price too :)
