A little small. Wash immediately by hand to get the access dye out and whatever may come with it. I washed with a bit of dawn and hot water. Then I put them in the dryer with dryer balls. They work great under a head wrap but adds NO volume.

I ordered these for our local Cobblestone Museum Living History. They are nicely made, quite sturdy and will work well for our actresses portraying Victorian-era ladies of western NY. The yarn is a shiny synthetic material, most likely nylon. I got the 12 pack of black snoods. The elastic is not tight or particularly "elastic-y", therefore, since we will be wearing them toward the back of the head, they will need a couple of bobby-pins to keep them in place. Shipping was fast and the items arrived well packaged.

So some of these are great and almost as big as the pictures indicate. Others fit like bald caps and I can't even get all of my short hair into it. I love the ones that fit, but I'm probably gonna find something similar from a different seller from here on.

I bought these for myself so I have enough to change but there's a trick in in them, some of them are very small they are not one size they dont fit like you see on the photos they are so tight they Make my Head hurt I'm not buying again I will keep buying them from the brauty shop I get The right size for a$1.40 I'm so sorry I cant recommend because of the headache ☹️ they give me they never even but enough elastic in them they also burn my 👂 and The first one I wore I did have to keep crochet it back because it falling apart until I couldn't catch it anymore I have through it out.
