Better shaving experience

Writing this review after using 3 blades. Using Bombay Shaving Company razor & shaving cream. 1st pass (with the grain) - OK-OK. Not exactly a close shave 2nd pass (against the grain) - smooth, no burns, close shave Post shave - Feel no stubble, no itching or dryness sensation (Both sides provided same results, Day1 & Day2 per side) CONCLUSION - BLADE PROVIDES EXCEPTIONAL SHAVE, COMPARED TO COMMON PLATINUM COATED BLADES AVAILABLE IN LOCAL MARKET Now, why do I not give blade 5star rating When I tried to re-use the blade on Day3 (Oh-God) the blade had lost its sharpness. So blunt that I felt i was scrapping my face & not shaving. Got almost 5-6 cuts & nicks on my face. So whats my take? I believe every person has different type beard & should try this blade once before forming an opinion. In my opinion this blade is good 1-time close shave on each side. I work as a manager & know the need to look well groomed & presentable. Other than that, I would go for Gillette platinum coated blades, which can last up to 4 shaves to me

Feather's blades are absolutely amazing, and at a price that can't be beat. When I first bought a safety razor, I had heard that it could produce a closer shave, and for a cheaper price than a cartridge razor. While the blades that came with it weren't bad, when I received the first set of Feathers, it absolute blew my mind. These double edged blades are nothing short of wonderous: Pros: + They're really sharp, and give a close shave with an experienced hand + Since they are sharp, they don't cause irritation during a shave. + Two blades means a faster shave, and less rinsing. + As there is a blade on both sides, the longevity is great. I can frequently get up to two weeks out of each blade, if not a bit more, before it becomes too irritating under normal conditions. + They're super cheap. $10 for 30. We're talking 60 weeks of shaving for half the price of 20 weeks with cartridges. + The packaging helps keep you safe! Nothing like the little slot in the back of each set for used razors. Cons: - They're sharp.... well duh... they're razors... be careful. - You can not take them in a carry on, so expect to check luggage if you want your blades on a trip - With a lot of growth, the blade dulls faster, so shaving off your beard can take down a razor in less than two weeks. Aside from some inconveniences from a travel perspective, Feather Double Edged Razor Blades are almost perfect. With the price to value ratio, they're pretty much a no brainer.

I've tried a number of different double edge blades when I switched from multiple blade safety razor. These are by far the best blades - sharp and give on average 5-6 shaves per blade. No pulling or nicks or cuts. Plus price is good.

I love how sharp the blades are. Much better than the Rockwells I bought in a 100 pack starting out. I will say, they might be too harsh for my liking. But definitely a quality blade and I imagine perfect for some gentlemen
