These are GREAT!!! You need to try them out, to believe them. Nice, gentle, generous, and steady stream. You can easily wash your face with it, without being hurt! States that these reduce water by 30%, but I have not measured this yet. Stylish, inexpensive, and easy to install. Comes with everything except a hose.

I have steel pipe plumbing in my condo on the third floor of a 120 year old gray stone beauty in Chicago and unfortunately very low water pressure. I had a delta shower head that cost 4x as much, but this one makes me feel like a million bucks. I'm buying another one for my mom for her place because I know that she will just love it. The spray feels solid yet not too hard on your body and crates a mist like effect which makes you feel like you're inside of a euphoric waterfall in tropical paradise. Simply a life changer.

The shower head provides a whole lot more pressure than the shower head that I replaced. When I turned my old shower head over to shoot water into the air, I would get a stream that would go maybe 2 feet high at the most. With this shower head, the water was able to shoot at least 7 feet high (reaching the ceiling)! The pressure is strong but comfortable if the shower head is kept at least a foot from the skin. If the shower head is less than a foot from your skin, you might feel a bit of a sting. This shower head uses 3 gallons per minute and is therefore not waterwise. I will probably get a more expensive shower head that uses 2 GPM with good pressure (and save $ in the long run with using less water and energy).

I was hesitating to purchase this stand alone, because of its value. Since most reviewers gave it good rating, I thought I may gave it a try, for $6 what can I loose, right! Well, let me tell you, this $6 stand alone shower head will rock your world, yes that's correct. Give it a try and you will see for yourself. I couldn't believe how good it spits out hundreds of tiny powerful jet stream and soft too. My wife couldn't believe it either... she wants me to get 2 more, one for guest bath and one for spare, so I did. Try it, you can never go wrong with this awesome shower head. I am glad that I did...

This shower head works fine as shower heads go. However, there's one problem with which you need to be very careful - this head does NOT fit securely in most shower brackets! Instead of the tightening nut being round, it is a hex shape and will not fit properly in a standard round bracket. This makes it pretty much useless when you have to hold on to it the entire time you are showering. If you try to hang it in a bracket loosely, as soon as you turn the water on the pressure makes it jump out of the bracket and fly around inside the shower.

Super excited about this shower head. We have a well and pressure can sometimes be real low. You feel like you have to run around in the water to get wet. This amps up the pressure to make a full drenching spray yet somehow the water feels soft like being in the rain. It really feels like more volume of water.

cannot beat the price for this shower head. It has good pressure and the jets feel really good, but does not sting. It is a great value for this shower head. I would recommend it. Buy a couple and replace the old shower heads and save a little water to boot.

I want to by more of them, one to each bathroom

This is my second time purchasing this shower head. The first one lasted a couple of years before it started leaking on the side. It helped me save a lot of water, which is why I decided to buy it again. The shower head delivers a very fine, pleasant stream of water, making showers enjoyable.

This is a fantastic shower head compared to my old one. I agree totally with the reviewer who wrote it's the best £6 she ever spent, (that was a couple of years ago, they are now £9). Having a hot water tank which is downstairs and a gravity fed system, the pressure of water was not that great. Consequently the water output was barely adequate and having a shower was a miserable experience. For years we have not used the shower instead running a bath. With the very hot weather this last week we once again gave showering a go hoping that it would at least cool us off. Alas, we were again disappointed. After searching for high power shower head on the Amazon website I sifted through all the search results and was impressed with the reviews this unit received. I also followed the suggestion of one other reviewer and bought a new shower hose with a larger internal diameter of 11mm. I fitted the hose first and the difference in water flow between the standard hose and the new hose was remarkable. Next I fitted the shower head and the arc of water from it reached the opposite end of the bath whereas the old one hardly reached 12 inches. You can probably tell I'm more than chuffed so if you are having a similar problem I can hand on heart say this is a good buy. For those who are put off by the negative review, claiming it is rubbish and that the 300% increase in pressure is a marketing ploy, I would suggest that you carefully read what the manufacturer claims, They state that the speed is boosted by 300% and this is not the same as pressure. This is achieved by the fine diameter holes in the shower head. Think of a hosepipe, if you put your finger over the outlet to constrain the flow it will cause the jet of water to throw much further, admittedly the volume is reduced. There are hundreds of fine holes in this head so you still get plenty of water volume to cover your whole body.

I live in a rented house for university, and as such we can't change the fact that we have bad electric showers which put out a low water pressure. I looked at changing the shower heads as an inexpensive way to boost the quality of my shower. The shower head firstly is able to be posted through a letter box, it doesn't have a large curve to it, so it's virtually flat. I was expecting a trip to the post office! It's packaged well, in several layers and bubble wrap to protect. Easy to install, and comes with a washer to replace any existing. It simply screwed into my existing hose - which I can only guess was a standard hose. (I'm unfortunately not an engineer) I turned on the shower and it has a very directional flow, that is so say that all of the water jets point the same way and don't cause the usual scatter of water pressure. The water feels aerated as it would in a mixer tap, but I find that nicer than the sharp beads from a traditional shower head. The small holes in the shower head are able to offer an illusion of increased water pressure. It's not magic, so the water pressure doesn't actually increase, but it feels like it does. The advert proudly states a 300% increase, and I would not go that far, but it certainly is better than what we had. In the end, for less than a £10 it was worth a punt, and it paid off for us - I've just ordered a second unit for the other shower! Would recommend to anyone with low water pressure that actually wants a functional shower!

I would like to state at the outset that I haven’t used this as my main shower head, I have attached it to an over-bath mixer tap. The one we had on ours, which came with the mixer tap seemed light weight, a bit flimsy and not even half as powerful as this one. I would imagine it would work well attached to the main shower head though, but it doesn’t have the choice of different spray styles like you get on most replacement shower heads. The water pressure seems much increased since adding this new spray head, I was pleasantly surprised by the difference it made. I washed two very large muddy dogs over the bath with this spray and got the job done in half the time it usually takes, which I was thankful for. The head isn’t overly heavy, but heavier than my flimsy, lightweight one that came with my mixer tap, and it’s not difficult to hold for my arthritic hands. So in summary, if you want an all singing and dancing shower head, look elsewhere, but if you just want a standard shower head that gets the job done with the additional plus of giving good water pressure, then I would recommend it.
