I installed these on the back of my Bulletpount Rubric dash mount system, and hardwired them. They only require a small hole for the wires to feed through. They do not come with a fuse tap and required splicing to longer wire as the provided wire ends are short. I fed the wire through the dash and to the passenger side kick panel fuse box-I used fuse 37 which supports heated steering wheel and is only on when the truck is on-which is what I wanted. Tips: When installing before outside cover is on, be careful not to lose the TINY springs that operate the doors/covers. Also, I ended up using my own screws with nuts as I was installing on my rack. They only come with tiny self-tapping screws. Looks great, and does support fast charging power. It is working well. LOVE the flush mount and individual sliding “doors” over each port that keep out the dust/dirt when not in use.

I’ve been using the Linkstyle RV USB Outlets for a few weeks now, and overall, it’s a great addition to my setup. My phone and tablet charge noticeably quicker compared to standard outlets. LED Indicator: The blue LED makes it easy to find the ports in low light, which is super handy for nighttime use. Sturdy Build: Feels solid and well-made, with durable materials that can handle the bumps and vibrations of a vehicle. Cons: Annoying Covers: The protective covers for the ports are a bit of a pain. They’re stiff and not the easiest to open, especially if you’re in a hurry or using bulkier cables. It’s a minor annoyance, but it could definitely be improved. Always-On LED: The LED stays on as long as the outlet is powered, which might be a concern for those worried about battery drain when the vehicle isn’t running. Overall: If you need a reliable, fast-charging solution for your RV or car, this outlet is a solid choice. The covers are a bit irritating, but once you’ve got your cables plugged in, it does its job really well. Worth it for the charging speed and build quality!

Very easy to mount as it takes up minimal space. It was very easy to install using a fuse tap. Works great for adding an additional power outlet to the drivers left side if you want to mount your smartphone in that position. Would be great to add extra quick charging power outlets to any dash or console where space is limited. Drill 1 hole to run the wires and mount with 2 self tapping screws. You may need to add some extra 12-14 gauge wire depending on where you will mount and connect the power outlet.

Installed in the bed of my truck one on each side to charge my bed lights while driving. Works great so far. Good price for a inexpensive charger. I bought 2 more for my shop. I would buy again if needed.

Little flimsy for my application.

Item arrived fast and installed easily but only the usb-c port worked. The Usb 3.0 port would not power on any devices. checked with volt meter and confirmed it was dead. Sent a message to the manufacture but did not receive a response so it has been returned to amazon.

I bought this item to charge my devices in my tractor while removing snow during the winter. It's easy to install and works perfectly. However, I wish the wires were longer, as I had some difficulty wiring them, but that might be due to my approach. So far, the unit works flawlessly and performs as intended.
