Best so far!! Easiest set-up to date!
Just got these today, and let me say they are amazing so far!! Long story short, I have bought many other brands of these lights before, NONE have been as easy as these to set up!! After placing them in their desired locations, downloaded app, set-up was a breeze even linked to Alexa in under 30 minutes on my eero wifi (That’s all a huge win compared to the hours it took with other brands). I liked the price, the brightness and color customization ease via the alexa app too!! Alexa has them changing color, turning off all like I want them to. Not sure of the lifespan as previously mentioned just got them, but at 9w power consumption , I am sure they will be fine. I will say the tjoy app was testy to link to alexa, so I promptly went to alexa app and did the set the linkages versus company app. Can’t wait to sync the music to the lights as well!! **Caution for those with migraines or triggers (seizure) from the flashing of the light during set-up may not be the best choice for you unless you have a friend to do that part of the set-up.**

Would recommend…
Loved these. Can control via the app with your phone. Pretty basic. I put them in every lamp in my room and can change to white or make them all the same color. Which I really enjoy. Especially watching movies.

Great smart bulbs with many options, but need stable internet
These are very good smart bulbs. I really like the TuyaSmart app—it’s very intuitive and easy to use. The bulbs offer a wide range of color options, work reliably, and I haven’t experienced any performance issues so far. One feature I especially like is the ability to adjust the brightness smoothly, which makes them very versatile for different environments and moods. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that they require a stable internet connection. If your connection is unstable, the bulbs can lose their configuration more easily. Aside from that, they perform excellently and are a great option overall.

Mi opinión, para este producto debió ser hace más de un año atrás, y la verdad es que hasta el momento es un excelente producto que funciona la perfección y fácil de configurar

1 bulb in 6 pack didnt work.
Bulbs are awesome and work fine. 1 of my 6 pack didnt even turn on out of the box but the other 5 work great. Im too lazy to return them for one bulb so they get 3 stars Edit… TJOY saw my original review and immediately sent a new bulb to replace the one that didnt work. Bump to 5 stars for exceptional customer service.

Hassle of reconnecting
Do not buy. They disconnect from Alexa every day They disconnect from WiFi constantly so you get these horrible blinking lights. The blinking is the worst. It literally make me you want to throw up And sometimes the connection takes a few tries to turn it on. If your not home and issuing the same WiFi the app won’t work And the list goes on…

I love my smart LEDs
I purchased these to replace my Sengled lights. I use the app for my cameras. It took watching a few videos to figure out how to set up the lights in groups. Once I figured that out, it’s awesome. The actual light set up is very simple with the app. Getting room set up in groups takes a little more effort for me.

Good value for the price, better than some other brands — Please READ my comments
I'm gonna list Pros and Cons, but overall these light bulbs are an excellent value for the money. They're life-changing and I'm happy I purchased them. You should just know a few things about them before you buy them. The most important thing is to make sure you set your WiFi up to 2.4 GHz if you want them to work. Your Internet Service Provider can help with this but I described this in more detail in the CONS section below. Overall, I do recommend buying these, as long as you understand what you're getting and how to use them properly. PROS: 1. BRIGHT, BEAUTIFUL COLORS — These light bulbs are relatively bright (very bright when in white mode, a somewhat bright for colors). The colors are very rich and beautiful. 2. THESE BULBS WORK PERFECTLY MOST OF THE TIME — I have these in every room of my entire house and they work great 90% of the time!! To best use these with Alexa, you need Amazon Echo Devices. I personally have an Echo Show unit in every room of the house. I have them set up with the app and they are configured with my Alexa so I can use my voice to turn them on/off or change their color (which is life changing for sure!). 3. CHANGE COLOR OR TURN ON/OFF MULTIPLE LIGHTS W/YOUR VOICE FROM *ANY* ROOM — You can also adjust them and create custom colors and scenes (where the light colors gradually change). With Alexa, I can change all the lights in the room at once (example "Alexa, change the lights to red" or "Alexa, change the lights to 30% brightness"), or I can change one bulb at a time (example: "Alexa, change the couch lamp to blue"). 4. SAVE ELECTRICITY, CONVENIENT OPERATION (NEVER USE A LIGHT SWITCH AGAIN) — These lights are LED, so they are very low wattage. So you can have a lot of them on at the same time without running up your electric bill. It's also a big energy saver to be able to just say "Alexa, turn off the lights" and all the lights in the room turn off. Or if you're in another room, you can turn off the lights in a room you're not in. For example, if I'm in the living room but forgot to turn off the bathroom lights, I can say (from the living room) "Alexa, turn off the lights in the front restroom" and they instantly turn off without me having to go to the bathroom to turn them off. CONS: 1. From time to time (not super often), one of the light bulbs will stop responding to Alexa. Usually, if you turn the light switch off physically and leave it off for like 5-10 seconds, it will start working again. This only happens maybe once or twice a month, and usually only to one of the bulbs. 2. If you use a physical light switch a lot, the bulb(s) connected to that switch will sometimes reset themselves, and so you'll have to go back in and get the app to recognize them again. I recommend against using the lightswitch if you have a smart bulb connected to that switch. Just use your voice or app to operate the lights (turn them on/off) so you don't run into this problem. In fact, I actually put tape on certain light switches so I remember not to use the switch, and that helps a lot. 3. Some colors don't match what they're called as closely as they should. For example, if I say "Alexa, change the lights to royal blue," it goes to kind of a medium light blue color. Royal blue should be a deep, rich, darker color with a slight hint of violet. Just one example. Some of the colors match perfectly. For example, if I say, "Amazon, change the lights to salmon," the color is just what I'd expect, a perfect balance of pink and orange with moderate saturation. So the colors vary. Main colors like red, blue, green, pink, cyan, purple and orange all look the way you expect them to, and look beautiful and rich. It just is hit or miss with some more unusual colors, that's all. 4. When the internet goes down, so does your ability to control the lights. If you have your lights set to blue and your internet goes down and suddenly you want to find the remote and need more light, you're stuck with blue light and can't change them to white or change their brightness until the internet comes back up. Our internet goes down maybe once a month, so this isn't a huge deal, but it does happen. Also, I think you can set the Power On Behavior for each bulb in the app, so if you want the lights to return to being white light if you flip the switch, then you can set it that way and you won't have to worry about this issue. 5. These light bulbs are ONLY compatible with 2.4 GHz WiFi. They won't work if you connect them to a 5 GHz WiFi network. To get around this, usually your internet service provider (Xfinity, in my case) can help you set your router so there is an additional 2.4 GHz network you can connect the bulbs to. This way, the rest of the devices in your house (like your phone, laptop, etc.) can still be connected to the faster 5 GHz network. 6. If your bulbs are too far from the router, they may not work and you may need a WiFi repeater to make sure the WiFi can reach those bulbs. I haven't run into that with this brand, but I did run into it with some of the other smart bulbs I've purchased, so just something to keep in mind. 7. I do think because of some of the quirks and limitation, the price could have been a bit lower. The price I got them for was a pretty good value for the money, but I think they should lower the price further due to the reasons I've listed here. Again, I do recommend these and I'm glad I got them. Would buy them again, for sure!!! Just know what you're getting into and buy these mindfully!
