Just used this hoover on my lorry great little hoover good suction well made by AEG you get a lot of tools with this machine did a good job of the lorry

Was fed up with my upright vac as dog hair would constantly clog the tubes and I would have to take the vac apart to unclog it. Decided to go back to a 'normal' vac, I had an AEG years ago and loved it so tried this one out. So far so good, suction on it is great, the main head has 3 flooring options, one for carpet, one for laminate/solid floor and another where your vac head will detect it for you. There is another head designed for pet hairs on carpet, it has a roller brush on it but I'm not a big fan of it, I mainly use the normal one. The normal head didn't have a roller brush on it so it MIGHT not pick up pet hair as much as a roller brush would, but it's doing ok. I use a rubber broom once a month to pick up any other hairs that might be embedded into the carpet. You can empty the vacuum straight into the bin, no faffing with vac bags. It tells you to wash the filters which I've not yet done. The metal pole seems really flimsy, it's my only concern. I tend to pic up a bit of static from the plastic tube as it's rubbing against my leg as I've hoovering the carpet. But no static shocks, can just feel my trousers a bit static

This is a very nice vacuum, in the sense that is is stylish, lightweight and works well. It's easy to empty and packs away tidily. However, this machine has a few design flaws that mean it only gets 4 stars. The filter falls off into the bin when emptying - if you're not paying attention you will lose it with the rubbish. The cord loses enthusiasm when it's retracted and always seems to stop at the last few inches - I find that annoying. It also has limited attachments, which is a shame - an upholstery brush would have been nice. All mildly disappointing elements considering I had hoped this machine would be with me for the long haul based on the reputation of the brand.

This is a super powerful vacuum. Easy to move around, lots of useful attachments & easy to use. Instructions are all visual, but most of them are so straightforward that it’s not a problem. I am delighted & this is certainly worth consideration. Arrived next day, well packaged. Highly recommend. J Taylor

I have been using this product for 2 months. I am not happy with it. The design means that the exhausted air is thrown to the ground level, which means that it blows up all the dust from the floor. The wheels do not offer much mobility (when turning around 360 degrees I mean). The dust container lid opens at 90 degrees, emptying it is a bit cumbersome. Otherwise, the vacuum cleaner is ok, the suction power is good. Another detail, the brush used for dusting is too small.

Sick and tired of our G tech vacuum cleaner we decided to go back to a corded vacuum cleaner, and this proved to be a good move . Loads of suction and very easy to use . It may be a little on the heavy side for some but I think that’s a small price to pay considering how efficiently this cleans. Equally good on hard or carpeted floors as well.

I've had all types of vacuum cleaners over the years but this has to be the worst! I assumed AEG was a good brand. Wrong! The dust bin doesn't stay closed so when you detach it from the vacuum cleaner, all the contents spill over the floor. And the rewind mechanism for the power cord only works intermittently. Avoid

Very powerful machine

This seems to be an excellent product but I am flying by the seat of my pants as the instruction manual is almost impossible to understand. Also it came with a UK plug with no Australian conversation. I would like help please or at least a conversion plug?
