An incredibly smart robot and Wife’s new best friend!
The PROS:This is our first vacuuming and mopping robot and although it’s only been in operation for a few weeks I am thoroughly impressed. My brother has a competitor’s product and he was very impressed when we compared models. The W10 Bot uses LIDAR to make a complete map of the all the rooms on a floor. We live in a two story home and it allows you to create up to 3 different floor maps. Although it took a few tries to get an accurate scan, it eventually scanned every room on the first floor and obstacle correctly and with very high accuracy. It did the upstairs very accurately on the first try. I put a baby gate at the top of the steps to make sure it wouldn’t topple down the stairs but it incorporates sensors on the circumference that can detect a “cliff” and prevent it from going over the cliff so to speak. So it would have probably reversed itself when it got by the stairs. Still, this is an expensive bot so I didn’t want to take any chances. This “cliff”feature works great on floor level vents and ducts BTW. I then was able to more clearly define separate rooms by splitting the room and renaming the new room. This was useful for delineating the foyer and hall from the kitchen etc. Then I created NO GO areas (like a floor mounted plug and a fire place hearth) so it didn’t have the possibility of frying it’s brains by getting shocked when mopping. The next thing I did was to create schedules of which room to clean and when to do it. Although this is a cool feature I found it more feasible to just select a room or group of rooms and let it run. This way I can remove floor rugs, shoes, chairs etc. before it starts cleaning. Even though you create a map initially, the bot will clean ANYWHERE it can so you can remove tall lamps, lift floor level drapes, and pull the chairs and tables back so the maximum floor is exposed for cleaning. FYI, If you remove the mopp heads the bot will only vacuum. The pads stay wet enough to mopp the floor and based on settings it will stop mopping and vacuuming and return to the base to clean and re-wet the mopp pads. After cleaning, it then resumes cleaning where it left off. There is an optional setting that will automatically increase suction when it senses it is on carpeting however this is really only usable when vacuuming only (not mopping). It does VERY good job of cleaning edge to edge and avoids carpets and rugs when mopping. I really like that after the cleaning sequence ends, it will return to the base, clean the mopp pads and DRY them. I have found that if the edge brush gets bent out of shape during periods of inactivity you can straighten them by removing then submerging the edge brush in a bowl of hot tap water, then drying. The CONS:The fresh and waste water bins are made almost entirely from plastic. This includes the latches AND hinges. Although these are made of some rather thick plastic they are just that….plastic. I am sure these will break if you are not careful. Press down lightly on the top (to compress the watertight seal) BEFORE you attempt to release the latch. It makes it much easier to release the latch. It’s also a good idea to press down lightly on the top when you re-latch it. Support the top when filling and emptying so you mitigate the strain on the hinges. Also empty and rinse the waste water tank immediately after cleaning and remove any clean water or solution after using. This is the only con I have seen so far.I am VERY pleased with this bot and my wife is too!

Completelt broken less than ayear old
So upsetting. It is quite an expensive robot and it worked fine for a few months. I have purchased it in May 2022 - we are in February 2023 now and I already need a new robot. Less than a year old. The problems were occasional usually with dirt water tank clogging the line but it is cleanable and manageable. We are now up to the clean water tank issues. When it hits the error it gives you a list of options to try to fix it: check if the tank has water, clean the filter, etc.. including self-repair. So none of them fixing the issue. It sounded to me like the motor was dead because not even a drop of water would moму up the clean water pipe. We took the back side off to watch what is happening and it does looks like the suction is not happening there. Long story short - 0 idea who to reach for the support since it is not an American company. The support option in the app - no one answers there of course. The parts - I don't think they sell them individually. So we spent more than a thousand dollars on a toy that cannot even last a year. Sad! They have a newer model sounding super exciting - but I don't think I will buy from them again.

Absolutely Thrilled!
I've only had this for one day, but so far its been great! My home is over 3K sq ft, and it mapped the entire house in about 15 minutes. I was then able to name all the rooms (yes, you can set custom room names in the app - must be new feature), and then I set my no-mop zones. I did have to set these, especially around area carpets, but it was very easy to do in the app (and you can even do it while its mopping - just pause, create a zone, and then resume and watch the bot adjust). I then had it mop the entire house, and I could not be happier with the results. This little machine is AMAZING! I hope this will last, since I've read not-so-good reviews for their support, but I did purchase the 3-yr protection plan from Amazon, so hoping that will help protect my investment. I had purchased a Narwal T10 first, and that thing couldn't even map my house (kept failing - tried 4 times - possibly defective but nevertheless very disappointing), so I returned it and bought this item instead. So incredibly happy with this purchase! I will try to update my review after 3 months and let you know how things are going, but so far very impressed.Update 8/21/22: Make sure you allow the bot to map your entire house, even rooms or areas you may not want it to clean. I originally didn’t do this and tried to block off those areas with no-go and no-mop zones, but it some cases the bot had trouble returning to the base. Once I mapped the entire house, I could then tell the bot exactly which rooms to mop/vacuum, and then everything worked as expected. See attached photo for how I setup my rooms, set room order (cleaning sequence), no-mop, and no-go zones. And BTW, I called support during normal business hours and they were very helpful, so that was encouraging!Update 10/4/2022: Everything still working great. Love, love this machine. Now Dreametech is releasing the L10s which automatically empties itself and raises the mop pads, nice!Update 11/2/2022: The clip on the fresh water tank broke when I lifted it out of the unit to add more water. I contacted support, and within a few days a new water tank was shipped out. I received it within a week. I don't think you can ask for better support than that. Thank you so much Dreametech!
