I love every single this about this lamp. I am not going ramble on and on about this and take up allot of your time. But I have to say That all the promises made in the advert for this goose-neck lamp are all true. I had a feeling that the bad reviews for this item was just sour grapes or someone that knows nothing about using such a state of the art item. And all of the ones that said you had to put this lamp together must live in a differnt untiverse because that was not the case at all.The lights have 3 tones, bright white, bright and medium warm that is like a very lit amber color.The lights have 10 strengths. and it has a usb or a plug in option.The magnifying glass is in a shape of a octogon which makes it the larges Magnifing Light you can purchase of this type in the USA.I can actually see what I am doing know with my progressives strenth 3 and the Mag Glass I see crystal clear, no ugly distortions especially for someone that has astigmatism and has this problem this all other mag glasses.I recommend this item. Buy two and give it to a crafty friend or another jewelry designer and artist.Buy one, If I could I would give this a try you'll fall in love with it too

This desk lamp is defenitely good for your home office implementation. I used the clamp to mount it to the side of my desk in my home office. This way it is out of the way. I was going to buy a lamp with a replaceable light bulb, but the fourth articulation of this lamp is what convinced me to go for this one instead. Most architect lights have only three articulations. The height of the lamp is also really good. The light does not get into my eyes and I can focus on either my computer screens or my desktop.I also love that you can set it to daylight, soft white, and even softer white, on top of being able to dim each of these settings. This makes working from home that much more comfortable.

I purchased this item to put on my workbench repairing musical instruments. It worked so well my wife wanted to use my bench for her crafting. I purchased a second one for her and we are both happy with it. It is a lighter duty light, but it works well and the price is right.Assembling the first one was straightforward but it took a few minutes to get it right. After assembling the first one, the second one went together in about a minute.The length of the arm was the reason I selected this lamp. It allowed for greater coverage of the workspace. I was concerned about it being able to support its own weight when stretched out. With a little tightening of the joints with the adjusting knobs, it is able to support itself stretched out.Using the light we both found the natural light color (not the yellow or blue) was preferred. My wife prefers the brightest intensity. I prefer it at a bit dimmer.Again, for the money, it’s a good value.

I got this to get started with miniature painting as a hobby and for a beginner hobbyist I don't have any complaints about this lamp. The instructions could have been a bit more clear but to be fair its a pretty easy setup. That all said its a decent lamp!

I can’t dislike this enough. I can’t even bring myself to return it I only want to throw it away. Such, a disappointment. Putting it together is a nightmare my eleven year old even gave up. Awful.

It’s a cool lamp. It articulates well. But why does it have a usb plug for power? Why not just a normal plug? It makes my power brick get hot. Also, the way the magnifying glass is imbedded in the device will cause it to fall straight out, possibly shattering. Super glue fixed that. But come on people!
