Nice knife if you don't need a lot of extra fluff
I love that this knife has a good sized blade, locks into the handle, and comes with a useable screwdriver set. Those were the two features I mainly used from my old swiss army knife. The blade arrived sharp, and it fits fairly nicely in the had. I find the bottle opener almost impossible to deploy, there is no leverage to grab it to pull it out, and I can't see any way to change this. I don't really know if I'll ever use it, so that's not a big deal to me, but worth noting. Also, this is (obviously) not as comfortable to hold as a swiss army knife, since there are no sides covering the tools. It does allow it to have larger tools without feeling large in your pocket. Overall I'm very happy with it, and don't plan on replacing it any time soon.

Surpreendente!

Outstanding.
“Gerber Gear Armbar Slim Drive,… Burnt Orange…” This is an outstanding little piece of kit. I often find myself in surprise need of screwdrivers these days. :-D That’s why I picked this one. It offers slotted and Philips in one magnetic reversible tip, so I could have either at a moment’s notice. Strong grip magnet too - nice touch. I mean, the tip won’t just fall out. I’ve also been asking my friend to use his knife quite a bit of late and I just feel unprepared. The blade on this is very sharp and feels good. I have issues with my thumbs, so it is not a one hand experience for me. Blade lock is good and strong. There is no lock for the screwdriver and today it tried to fold while I was using it. I shall pay more attention. The bottle opener? That is weird to get out and to me not really worth the engineering to include it, but like cup holders, I can always use it for something. Who are these people who can’t ever not have a beverage in their hand??? So bizarre. Anyway, I would have liked a clip for it, but I am enjoying working through lanyard solutions for it. It is just the thing.

Handy and useful
Finally a screwdriver I can EDC that I forget is in my pocket and works when I need it. My main EDC tool is a Victorinox Compact. I also have a multitude of multi tools from Leatherman, Gerber and others. The screwdriver on all have left something to be desired, reach, torque, etc. And standard screwdrivers just don’t ride well for EDC. The Armbar Slim would be fine if its only function were the screwdriver. The blade is a bonus. The bottle opener is a very hard to open gimmick, but everything seems to have a bottle opener these days. I also have an Armbar Cork, which is my camping tool of choice.

Ferramenta boa.
