Very good.
Housing is a bit fiddly to assemble especially as there are no instructions, but the camera is very good

Unfortunately I got a faulty one
I had bad luck to get a faulty cam I guess. It's getting detected by system but does not show any pictures and led will never show the operating status. Changing RPI, microSD, ribbon cable different OS, etc. all steps were done, I've contacted the seller for help and support, unfortunately no feedback, silence. So it can not be rated. Got my self a used Noir cam from local adverts, first plug a voila, picture appeared, so I am sure that cam that I ordered from this seller is faulty, thrown in the bin...

It works and does all it’s supposed to do
NextPro Raspberry Pi Camera Module 5MThe NextPro Pi camera module comes in a simple cardboard outer box containing the module in an anti-static bag, an alternative ribbon cable for Pi Zero boards and a simple instruction sheet.I can’t quite make heads or tails of the Amazon listing for this item, it seems to me they have got their text mixed up between this camera module, the Raspberry Pi SBC and an Intel (not AMD) desktop PC.I needed to change the case on my Pi 4b board because there wasn’t an access slot for the camera ribbon cable in the existing one. I also ordered a longer ribbon cable because the one fitted to the NextPro module (15cm) was way too short for my needs. And to make the camera module less vulnerable, I also 3D printed a small case to fit. Once all assembled and the camera interface enabled in the OS, it was plain sailing. As some other reviewers have noted, this is a 5 megapixel camera module, similar to version 1 of the Pi Camera Module. Although it still produces creditable still images at a maximum of 2592 x 1944 pixels and video at 1920 x 1080 (1080p). The camera is fixed focus and its overall performance is better at a distance of 150mm plus from the lens. How about price? Well at £8.59 (at the time of writing this review) it’s not a bad price, there are cheaper and there are more expensive Pi Cameras. It certainly works fine and does all it’s supposed to do so I have good reason to recommend it. But please NextPro, sort out your listing, it’s not Core i5, it’s not AMD and it’s not 1.5Ghz.

Much cheaper than the official one - but it's the old 5Mp version. Nice gift pack.
This is an 'unofficial' version of the v1 5 Megapixel Pi camera. The current version is 8Mp and costs about £20.This camera's asking price of £8.59 looks like a significant bargain, until you look elsewhere on Amazon and find you can buy a pack of 5 for £14.However, this example came nicely packaged in a printed box, and the camera was in an antistatic bag. This attention to detail is where the extra money has gone. There is also a ribbon cable in the box for the Pi Zero.I was quite impressed with the instruction booklet. It's minuscule and the font is microscopic, but it's in colour, clearly printed and has everything you need to get the camera working all on one page. Well, two if you include the back. The camera plugs into the 'camera' port on the Pi. That sounds obvious, but it's important to know because if you have a Pi400 with the built-in keyboard, this isn't going to work - there's no camera port on a Pi400.You might also want to check your Pi case, as not all of them have the camera port exposed.Although you can buy these cameras cheaper in bulk, if you are new to the Pi or you are buying for someone learning, this is a good choice. It's nicely presented and has good instructions.

it works with raspberry pi 2b
The media could not be loaded. this is a camera module for raspberry pi series, from the product description, it mentioned quite a lot raspberry pi models but not raspberry pi 2, but i know actually all raspberry pi got the same camera interface, so i ordered it for my raspberry pi 2bit came with 2 x 15cm cables, one for standard raspberry boards, another smaller one for pi zero seriesit’s very easy to install, and it worked right away, i used it to monitor my 3d printer, the octoprint software already config everything for me, no setup is requiredthis camera is of good quality, it operates continuously with 3d printer for hours and days, no disconnect or fault occurredit got 5 mega pixel 1080p video quality, which is an overkill for my use, video is clear in sunlight, but still not bad when in dimmed environmenti’m very happy with this product, would recommendhope you find these information helpful

Great attachment for 3d printer
Been looking to attach a camera to operate my 3D printer via OctoPI + a pi4 so I can see and record what is being printed. I also printed the body for the camera and fitted it to the printer snugly. The image quality is very good with decent lighting and has not failed once out of the 5 months of moderate use.

Good quality Pi cameras module clone
This clone of the original Raspberry Pi camera module is exactly what you'd expect. The camera works perfectly well taking decent quality still images and video, ideal for electronics projects and robotics. The camera module is supplied with a strip cable fitted ready for installing into the Pi, there is an extra strip cable for the Pi Zero connection and a small, but detailed leaflet exposing how to get started using the module including Python code samples for still and video recording.Good practice and decent quality.
