Great price point; effective protection; reasonably comfortable but thick; secure fit.
I recently had surgery and needed the use of incontinence pads during recovery. i was somewhat shocked at the price points of many of the available products. The Amazon Basics pads are providing effective protection, stay in place with the sticky backing, are easily removed for disposal, are reasonably comfortable given that they are somewhat thick, and are a great price point. If you are looking for similar pads for more than a brief temporary control, then these provide a great affordable option. So far I have been 100% pleased. My only suggestion is that if your leakage is not so severe then you could consider a product that might be somewhat thinner (if such products exist) for long term comfort These pads are definitely on the thicker side but it was what I needed after my surgery. Fortunately, once these are in place I hardly notice I am wearing them. It all depends on your sensitivity to having a pad in your underwear. Because my needs are very temporary I unfortunately can't comment beyond what I have described above. After a few weeks I won't need these pads any longer but I am so relieved to have had them.

Great Price, good coverage
These Amazon Basic pads are a great price. 52 for less than $14! They work for men just as they should, but I wish they came in a lighter, less bulky version. I need to use pads since my prostatectomy a few years ago. However, a very light pad would work for me and there are several on the market I have used, but most of those are too small for me. I like that they are thinner, but they don't cover as well, and I've had a leak or two that showed because the width of the lighter pads was not enough. These are wider and I've never had a "show thru" problem while wearing these. I also don't like to spend money on this type of product and I'm willing to wear something that is a bit bulky for significant savings. Try them for $14 and you may be just as satisfied with them as I am.

You can wear these affordable guards comfortably, confidently and without embarrassment.
I need these because I recently had prostrate cancer surgery and they work very well. I feel that they are absorbent enough for my situation. That situation is occasional leakage in small amounts. You don't feel them because they are small and are designed to adhere to underpants. After surgery you might want something larger in the beginning. As you do exercise and relearn to control flow these are what you will want to use. They control odor and no one will know you are wearing them. The price is good especially if you have Amazon Prime and you avoid any embarrassment buying them at the retail market. I hope this is a temporary need but for the time being, I can go anywhere with confidence. I don't feel that they are bulky and I have not had any guards rip even when I am exercising or riding my bike.

Nowhere near as absorbant or side leak proof as cheaper grocery store brand!
We use these for my aging male dog's urinary incontinence. They are worn sideways, held in place by a velcro diaper cover that wraps around his abdomen. Here are some observations: 1) when we can get them, a major national grocery chain (whose name starts with a K, and which has a subsidiary with initials FM in the Pacific NW and Alaska) sells packs of 52 max absorbancy guards for $2 less than Amazon's so-called maximum absorbancy guards. The grocery product is not only cheaper, but far more absorbant, and better at avoiding leaks along the sides of the pad. 2) all MALE unrinary incontinence pads are far more absorbant, and far cheaper, than the most absorbant female unirnary incontinence pads available. We know this because over the past three years we have tried every product (male and female human, and male dog pads) out there. This "pink tax" price difference likely violates consumer laws in states like Massachusetts that forbid higher prices for essentially the same products marketed to women v. men. I know that if I ever develop urinary incontinence, I will be using "men's" pads, even though they may be a bit wider than I need. Take heed, other women, and also MA state regulators!

Very absorbant, and comfortable
I hope you don't need incontinence pads, but if you do, these fit the bill for me. They are very absorbent without being real big, thick and bulky like adult diapers. The self stick strip holds the pad in place well. I don't know if these would work in boxer type underwear very well, so I got some brief type underwear and they work very well in those. Amazon has them at a good price, and they ship them discretely. Depending on how many you need or use daily, there are auto order options that take the price even lower, I will be buying again.
