I'm a big fan of Mercola products. These saw palmetto drops was something I never tried before but lately I was having trouble with the night pees...frequent and difficulty passing urine. This has worked for me so far and I would recommend it for those occasions. Now, I urinate about 2x each night, a good quick stream (can we talk?)...no more leaning against the wall waiting for nature to take it's course. It will be a staple in my supplement routine. So this is a pretty good saw palmetto supplement. First off, I love that this comes in a liquid form. That makes it super easy to take, and it’s very quick. No pills or gels to swallow, and it’s done and gone in an instant. That’s the best part for me. I also love that this is just saw palmetto. There isn’t a bunch of extra stuff in this one! Added to that, it’s organic saw palmetto extract, which is a nice bonus. Now for the things I’m not so wild about…the taste is terrible. Terrible! I suppose it may be a bit better if I diluted this in liquid, but there’s no way I’m prolonging this taste. I’ll just get it over with. The other thing that really gives me pause is the “other ingredients”. There is “organic cane alcohol” of 4-5% in this as well, which is going to be just fine for most people, but if you are sensitive to alcohol or in recovery, this is an unexpected ingredient that will be unwelcome and not good for you. I’m ok with having this in the supplement, but I find it problematic to include alcohol in supplements for the reasons I just mentioned. There are many people who can’t have alcohol of any kind included in supplements. I’m giving this one four stars because I think it is mostly good and I am planning on continuing to use it. I am a woman and I personally use it for problems with thinning hair. I have had positive results with saw palmetto, and aside from the taste of this supplement, I like it and would recommend it to most people.

So long as my husband takes a dose of this on his water daily, his shedding is drastically less. Normally there’s hair all over the pillows in the morning. This has been a game changer. I’ve reordered it several times.

I love the quality of Dr. Mercola. His saw palmetto doesn't taste horrible like some of the other brands I have tried.
