Perfect Swim Nappy for Our 7-Month-Old – No Leaks, No Worries!
We recently started baby swimming classes with our 7-month-old, and the Splash About Happy Nappy has been a total game-changer. It’s comfortable, secure, and does exactly what it promises—no leaks! I was a little nervous about pool accidents, but this nappy gives real peace of mind. It fits snugly around the legs and waist without being too tight, and our baby doesn’t seem bothered by it at all. We pair it with a reusable swim nappy liner for easy cleanup, and it works beautifully. The quality is excellent—it’s stretchy, soft, and easy to get on and off, even with a wriggly baby. Plus, the designs are adorable, which is a bonus! It’s also great knowing it’s approved by most baby swim schools, so we didn’t have to worry about meeting any class requirements. Highly recommend for any parent getting into baby swimming—this nappy takes away the stress and lets you just enjoy the fun!

Do exactly what you need them to do
I bought these to take on holiday for our nearly two year old as I'm trying to make a few changes to help the planet and all that. The print is lovely and they are well made, bit of a squeeze to get on but we managed (they need to be snug to keep the accidents in the nappy and not swimming about in the pool). They were comfortable on our little one and did their job, rinsed them off in water and they soon dried in the sun ready to be worn again in no time. Felt a lot better about these than disposable swim nappies. Make sure to go off your child's measurements rather than age to ensure you get the correct size and you won't be disappointed. Would definitely recommend to other parents and carers.

Best Swim Nappy on the Market!
First and foremost, the fit is fantastic. The nappy is snug without being too tight, and it provides excellent leak protection, which gives me peace of mind while my toddler splashes around. The soft, stretchy material allows for easy movement, and my child seems very comfortable in it. I love that it’s reusable! It’s a more environmentally friendly option compared to disposable swim nappies, and it’s easy to clean. Just rinse it out after use and toss it in the washing machine. The nappy retains its shape and elasticity even after multiple washes, which is a huge plus. The adorable designs are another highlight! There are so many fun patterns to choose from, making swim time even more enjoyable. Plus, my toddler loves wearing it!

Tight fit, would definitely sized up
Cute print and works as intended (however baby did not perform a number 2 so can't fully say how effective it will be). Baby is 9 months so right in the middle of the 6 - 12m size I purchased and I would say it's quite tight. Obviously it needs to be snug to work properly but it left deeper sock marks than I would personally have liked. Good length in the nappy, so if you do have a slim little toot then the sizing should be spot on but my wee lady has thick thighs. Stitching is good quality and it's stretch fit so easy to get on and off even when wet after the pool!

Best swim nappies available
We love the happy nappy range. We have bought a swimsuit and separate happy nappy pants in every size for our little one whilst she has been attending Water Babies swimming lessons. The pants can be worn under swimming costumes or as their own individual piece and it fits all of the requirements for ‘double nappies’ as set by many pools. The pants don’t provide as much coverage as the swimsuits, but my daughter has been perfectly warm in hydrotherapy pools. It’s also been nice to use with a separate rash vest. The pink colour on these pants was as lovely as pictured and the quality of the material is really excellent. I love the bold colours, which make my little one even more visible in the water. They’re a little stiff to get on, there isn’t much stretch, so it’s obvious when you need to size up, but it gives reassurance that no little accidents could possibly leak. The inner lining is black, so there’s no risk of any unpleasant staining either. The sizes are reasonably generous though; my 26 month old is still in her 12-24 month pair. They do require handwashing, which is a little bit of a downside - people with young children don’t have much time for this sort of thing, but the colour and pants themselves have lasted really well, probably as a result. Hand-wash cycle in the washing machine has been fine fortunately!

Effective
Loved this for my baby. I always used it over a disposable swim nappy as it’s a rule in most places but I’ve never had any leaks. Hugged my baby’s legs and waist tight enough to be effective but not too tight. Really good product!

Happy Nappy, happy baby
These Happy Nappy products are brilliant. As others have stated, the sizing is tight. I have a four month old who is 75th percentile for weight and 50th for height, and she is just too big for the 3-6 month (if I want another nappy system underneath) and just too small for the 6-12. In order to work, these nappies have to be tight so, without the use of another nappy underneath, the size is probably accurate for the average baby. However, for extra hygiene and security, it feels safer to have an extra layer underneath. There is a reason swim classes deam this necessary! I have used both disposable swim nappies and reusable fabric ones underneath and both work well.

I’m so glad I found this reusable swim diaper! It’s incredibly well-made and fits my toddler perfectly. The material is soft yet durable, and it does an excellent job of preventing leaks, giving me peace of mind during swim lessons. The adjustable fit ensures comfort as my little one grows, and it’s so easy to wash and reuse. What’s even better is that this is the only brand allowed at my toddler’s swim facility, so I can rest assured that it meets their strict guidelines. It’s been a great investment and a must-have for anyone looking for a reliable, eco-friendly option for swim time. Highly recommend!

Too small!! My grandson is 12 months old… very average size for his age. These are tight all over but especially on his legs.

We used to love Happy Nappies and used them for our daughter’s swim class when she was younger (6-9 months). Unfortunately, the size XL for ages 1-2 is WAY too tight - the other reviews are correct in this regard. After trying it on my daughter before swim class and pulling it up so that it’s on correctly, it left marks on my daughters legs and tummy after only 3-5 mins of wear. I understand that these are meant to fit snug to prevent leakage in pools (and her old one did too) but my daughter was visibly uncomfortable this time around and this diaper left deep red marks. Also - these diapers don’t stretch out like regular swim wear in the water (we know from our prior purchases) so definitely size up once your child is 1. For reference my daughter is 14 months, approximately 29 inches tall and 22 lbs. I giving this diaper three stars because it would work great for someone a lot smaller (maybe 9-12 months?) and because apart from incorrect sizing, there was nothing else wrong with this item.
