Yes, they are not cheap. The taste is so good, you will instantly tell. Like the difference between filet mignon and bottom round steak difference!

The price is good. The cost of shipping is high. However, the packing is first class. My 10 pounds of hot dogs arrived cold in a styrofoam box with freezer bricks. The relish, mustard, celery salt and jardiniere were all individually wrapped and protected. The best however is these hot dogs are the best tasting all beef in natural casing that gives that snap with every bite. The foot long are great. A fun treat

When I ordered the 12” hotdogs, I thought it had the natural casing-but to my mistake, no natural casing. I finally got to try the hotdogs today-it has the smell and taste of a very good hotdog. Even though, the dogs don’t have the natural casings-it still have a snap. No regrets- no natural casing, I still enjoy these 12” dogs.

The product is all Vienna Beef, so good! However, I should have checked the dog length more carefully, though. I wanted the fat, standard large dogs, not the skinny, super long ones - but that's my fault for not double, then triple checking the order. Now i have to cut them in half to make what should be one dog. Big deal, right? First world problems. I am still grateful to have these again no matter what. Because the problem was not from the manufacturer, i won't rate this poorly (i don't like it when people have one issue that's theirs, and then rate the product poorly), if anything, it's my fault that i didn't get the ones i'd hoped for. I'll know better next time, that's for sure. Just be sure to check the dog length before you press the "Buy Now" button ;)

Every Friday the 13th, a group of managers at my workplace host a "Lucky Dog" luncheon. We try to have a theme each time, and to vary the offering. For our most recent one on Friday, March 13, 2020 we decided to go for footlong's, and ordered these. The response we got from our employees was phenomenal. They really enjoyed the excellent flavor and snap when they bit into them.

These hotdogs have the smell and taste of cheap hotdogs. They have a nasty aftertaste when cooked on the stove or grilled, and the casing is tough and hard to chew.

If you like skinny, foot-long dogs with a snap, get these! I love that they hang wayyyy over the bun. (who needs all those carbs anyway?) I just keep pushing the dog from the back tip so there's 2x dog/bun ratio, just the way it should be...
