Works and fits perfectly. I love the price point because I can easily afford to replace the filter every 3 months. I live in a high allergen area and replacing the cabin filter helps my girl with her allergies. Also, the cabin can get an odor to it and replacing the cabin air filter takes care the odd odor.

I have a 2016 Mazda 3 that started to have an air filter that was getting dirty. I was notified of this when I took my car to the dealership. They recommended that I change out the air filter next time I stop by. I asked them how much they wanted and it was $60 dollars! I knew that changing it myself wouldn't be that much so I quickly did a search to see how easy it is on my car. It could be changed in less than 5 minutes by opening up the glove box and and taking out the filter. I then decided to look on Amazon to see what filters are available for my car which is when I came across this one. It was less than 10 dollars and has activated carbon which I was looking for. I have had this product for around 10 months now and it is still going strong. Packaging: The air filter came inside a box and wrapped in plastic. It was simple and quick to remove and install. The air filter itself was the same size/shape as the original filter in my brand new car in 2016. A tip before removing the filter is to make sure you notice where the arrow is pointing on the old filter. This is the way the airflow is. You will be installing your filter the same way as the old one. Filter Quality: The filter felt sturdy and had the charcoal (black dots) as shown in photos which I was happy about. The only difference that I noticed that was different than the original filter was that it had a few less folds on the filter itself. I didn't notice any other differences but I figured that shouldn't make too much of a difference. The original filter also didn't have charcoal so this more than made up for the lack of folds for me. Installation: Installation was pretty simple. I had to take apart the glove box and push it in a little from the side to disengage the lock, but that was pretty after viewing the YouTube video. Once I did that, the filter was seen. It is the one with the tab hanging out. You just pull on it and it should come out smoothly. As I mentioned earlier, before removing, make not of the way the filter was pointing. You will put the new filter in the same way. After putting the new filter in, you just put back on your glove box and you are done. I have never done this before and was pleasantly surprised it only took me about 5 minutes. Overall, a great product that is not only affordable but easy to replace on your own. Not only does it save you $40+ dollars from getting it done at the dealer, but you can potentially replace it as often as you like knowing how easy and not time consuming it is. My filter is still working great as of now and it has been 10 months. I will be buying the same one again in a couple months. Overall, 5 stars from me.
