Substantial feel, stays in place. Feels like a quality product. Purchased for post surgery recovery to place on top of a light comforter, on one side of king bed, covered with a sheet across entire bed top. Working perfectly. Stays in place! We anticipated bunching or shifting but it really has remained smooth despite movements of patient on top of bed. Breathes well, stays fresh, washed well in permanent press cycle. Suggest not over-drying it. Buy a spare if you anticipate soiling so you may swap them easier. We’re buying another. Good for kids beds too.

We have had to use mattress pads for varying reasons for years. We now have a special needs boxer and since she sleeps on the bed with us (and has her entire life with us) we needed something that would withstand the movement of an active dog - and stay in place. These pads are WONDERFUL! At first blush you might think they are expensive but just think about this: a pack of disposable pads are about $16 and after one use - each one has to be thrown away. Disposable pads leak on the side - these NEVER DO!! We had just about given up hope. We were washing bed clothes several times a week but since getting these pads we've had NO accident where the bed clothes were affected. These pads wash up easily, dry quickly & after several washings they still maintain their shape - like new! We ordered 3 of these to make sure we have enough. They stay in place, even on a comforter surface!! If turned with length going from left to right on the mattress, It comes within 4 inches on each side and is about 1/3 (or more) in covering our queen size mattress. 2 of them pretty much cover the bed. These work beautifully and since they are guaranteed for life - we will definitely be using them from now on! UPDATE: 07-13-2018 We have now ordered 7 of these pads. They are FANTASTIC!!! They not only act as a barrier between our boxer (who sometimes is incontinent) and our mattress but 2 of the fit our queen size bed so dog nails don't puncture or otherwise damage our comforters/quilts/bed spreads. Again - you may think they are expensive but we have found them well worth the money. We have had some of these in excess of a year and they are washed AT LEAST once a week and still maintain their shape, their usefulness, absorbency, and none of them have been punctured or otherwise damaged even with a 51 pound boxer who jumps on and off the bed frequently.

I purchased these for my elderly mother. These pads are excellent! They are thick and don't move during the night. So far they are leak proof and wash well. These pads save me time, energy and money. I would recommend these pads to anyone caring for someone who may have incontinent issues at night.

I've have been in search of an AFFORDABLE long term solution to protecting my carpets from 2 puppies for MONTHS! I have tried so many items....puppy pee pads (they played with them and shredded them into confetti )among several other types of 'protective pads' which claimed to be 'leak proof' that were not. I know I am not alone in this venture. It can be one that is quite frustrating. I just happened across this item while search for washable leak proof mattress protectors. WOW! why had I not had this thought months ago?? THESE ARE PERFECT! Perhaps not 'life saving' but definitely SANITY SAVING! These beat 'puppy pee pads' which are as wasteful as buying disposable diapers....cuz the world needs more plastic and mounds of garbage in landfills. My two fur creatures are 99% trained to go outside. It's that 1% risk that, in the middle of the night ,one of them 'needs to go' and hops off the bed and decides that going right in front of the closed bedroom door is the area best to relieve their little bladder. No. They won't wake me up in the middle of the night for that. (God Bless 'em) So i needed a solution that didn't involve me having to cut out a square of carpet and put down tile as if the entrance to my bedroom is now a 'foyer'. I've only used these for a couple of nights. The first morning it was dry. No one had to go in the middle of the night. Last night....someone 'went'. The result was FANTASTIC! This product performed . I placed some plastic sheeting under it....until they used it and I could see for myself if this actually saved me from having to clean the carpet for 2 hours trying to get that urine and smell out of it. I am ELATED! No leak thru. NONE. It absorbed into the pad and was pretty 'dry to the touch' when I ran my hand across it. It washed up easily! FINALLY!!!! They could re-label these and sell them as a TRULY washable and TRULY leak proof puppy pad! I'm telling all my fur creature mommies about this find! Well.I guess I just told all of you out here who read this! Just perfect. not too big/not too small. Perfect size for a small breed to sniff around on and determine that 'perfect spot' to 'let it flow' upon. I am THRILLED beyond words to have FINALLY found a solution to this challenging issue. Anyone with fur children knows EXACTLY what I'm talking about. Buy these! Save your sanity and your bank account at the same time...and it will save your fur creature from listening to you rant on about how much you love them but you have 'so many better things to do' than clean the carpet......THANK YOU 'GORILLA'!

Excellent quality bed pad with impeccable stitching on edges and pad itself. Quality fabric and backing as well, and isn't hot to sleep on. I ordered the 54" and it's size is super-generous on my bed. The dotted backing is very nicely made; however, don't expect it to stay completely where you place it. It still moves out of place a bit, but I'll say it doesn't shift around as much as the typical pads I've used before - this is why I gave only a 4-star rating. Otherwise, it's definitely a 5-star product. Very expedient shipping, too. Thanks for a product that's worth it's price!

Love the non-slip backing so it doesn't move around. The waterproof side is also soft enough that my 2 year old who has very sensitive skin doesn't mind sleeping on it without an extra sheet in between. After a few washes in the laundry it still looks the same with no pilling so far. Also no stains which is suprising! Ended up buying 3 more!

Great pad, washed it before I used it and it stayed the same, no shrinking. It has a nice cotton top and doesn’t make a plastic sound despite the rubber non stick grip backing. I got the full size and works fine over a queen bed, it’s less bulky to wash and handle.

Estoy muy feliz y ya no me preocupo por los colchones, además es muy práctico ya que se puede mover muy fácil en caso de que decida que pueden dormir mis hijos en mi cama...

Las uso con una persona mayor que suele tener incontinencia, han protegido bien mi colchón y hasta ahora no han desmerecido lavándolas en lavadora automática. Recomendables.

I have used a few waterproof mattresses in the past and none was absorbent enough and neither stayed in place. I always end up washing both the mattress pad and the bedcovers. The Original GORILLA GRIP Slip-Resistant Incontinence Mattress Pad (52"x 34") Cover is a little expensive compared to the other 2 waterproof mattresses I have. But the size and quality match the price, so does the fact that it is slip-resistant. I use the Mattress Pad on a twin-size bed and it almost covers a twin-size bed. The ad claims the mattress pad to absorb 8 glasses of water ( not sure how much the 8 glass of water is , the quantity may vary to glass size) hence I tried the Mattress Pad Cover with 40 0z (1.18294 litres) of water. It does hold that (40 oz) much of water and keeps the bedcovers clean and dry. Overall, I am happy with the size, quality and price of the mattress. It is a lifesaver and I use it every day for a carefree ,tension-free feeling. it is better to buy one good mattress than buying multiple cheap waterproof mattresses which won't solve the purpose. would highly recommend.
