I loved playing with polly pocket when I was a child so being able to buy the next generation these cool little sets is fun x

This arrives in a brightly coloured box measuring approx 23cm x just over 15cm x 13.5cm with a 5cm upstand at the back of the box which could be folded down to wrap. With the upstand folded it would be easy to wrap & make a great gift for a Polly fan who loves space princesses. Inside the box, the playset is open showing you one half of the orb with the 3 included characters (Polly, a blue skinned Polly & a small green alien). When out of the box this can be closed into a flat bottomed orb shape & carried like a small handbag using the attached cord. You can also open it up & fold it out to create 2 small play areas. On one side you have your alien landscape with a small rocket ride which travels round a track. He has a small seat in the lid with a fold up spaceship shaped cover. On the other you have a princess castle complete with removable throne. As usual there are pegs all over the place so you can attach shooting stars to the sky or stand the figures on one spot & so on. My favourite bits are the rocking chair that is shaped like a moon & the rainbow bridge slide that folds out to connect the two 'realms' so you can peg a character (or the unicorn) onto the bridge & slide them across. So much play value is built into these little sets - every surface is full of moulded details to enhance play & the small bits are interchangeable with any other Polly Pockets you might have around. This also looks really nice just sat on the shelf as an ornament when not being played with & as all the bits will fit inside it when closed, it's highly portable so a great toy to take on longer journeys.

We quite like the idea of this double play space compact and the design is quite different from the other polly pocket set we have. This set the case can be opened up to form two side, as a connecting with the alien planet/spaceship. There are many tiny accessories in the set so a little zip lock bags will be essential to keep all the tiny pieces together, and to reduce the chance of losing them or being sucked into the hoover. This toy is more suitable for children around 6 to 8 years old. My older one lost interested in it already but my younger one still plays with it. They do little role plays with her friends when they come over for playdates. There are some moving parts which add to the fun. Overall, it's a good polly pocket set and my little one likes it.

Excellent quality toy as expected from this brand. This is one of several 'double play' toys by Polly Pocket. In essence, it is an easy to store and carry playset with several 'stages' or areas where the included accessories can be used. There's usually several parts built into the toy that move and make for a lot of fun. This set is no different, this time with a Space theme. You get 2 dolls in different designs and tons of accessories to play with. Very well made toy with lots of attention to detail. Everything can be packed into the 'ball' playset so you don't lose any items. Perfect for play pretend. Recommended.
