Vol. 3 - Life And Times Of S. Carter Explicit Lyrics

This is my favorite Jay Z album this is the second time I purchased it my other one cracked so I found this one and I am so happy this album is not an easy find. To me this was Jay Z at his best in that error. This album is a thro2 back classic for me a Jay Z aka HOV must have in your collection.

This CD is great! Jay-Z is definatly a hip-hop superstar, and he's a great lyricist. There's nice beats on here, and great guest appearences by memphis bleek, Beanie Sigel, Amil, Dre.Dre, and UGK. This does have great tracks, and I'll rate them:So Ghetto: Very nice in lyrics and a tight beat to fit, nice way to start the album. 5/5Do It Again: This is nice too, and it's got a catchy chorus. 4/5Dope Man: Really like this one. He's still got great lyrics. 5/5Things that you do: Ah, this one is okay, not the best. I'm not a big fan of Mariah Carey. 3/5It's Hot: Can't stop it while it's hot!!! 5/5Snoopy Track: weird name, but a great track! Great chorus too! 5/5S.Carter: Nice lyrics, a beat, and great chorus. 5/5Pop 4 Roc: I don't care for this, it's not that good. 2/5Watch Me: Great track wit Dre.Dre! 5/5Big Pimpin: Awesome!! Love the beat, and some really tight lyrics! nice! 6/5There's been a Murder: Love this too. It's really great. a highlight fo'sho. 5/5Come and Get Me: Nice track, Jay-z is still sounding great. 5/5NYMP: Haven't listened to it enough, but sounds good.So overall, this is a tight album. You won't be disappionted. And the intro and outro are great too. definatly a classic.

The Record was well wrapped and clean.

Great album but the streaming version of this album on Amazon is missing the song "Watch Me" featuring Dr. Dre. Please Amazon, fix that issue and make it right.

This is probably one of my most listened to cd’s. I think Jay Z is great, but he is not the G.O.A.T of Hip Hop.

Jigga was in a zone during this period. Good features, GREAT beats. Outstanding production. This gets me in a mode, man like I'm madd focused on my vision. Great driving music. Sounds amazing in the Lex.
