Works great! I used it for my shed when I installed solar lighting which I had two banks of lights which allowed me to choose all lights or half of them.

I don't understand how a simple 12v light switch could fail. In just 1 month both switches have failed. Sure enough... the return window closed at about 2 weeks after they shipped the product. --- AVOID PRODUCT ---

Mount easy and worked

Bad connections, doesn’t always turn my trailer lights on when I flip the switch. I have to remove the switch and wiggle the spade terminals on the back

So far so good. Wife couldn’t reach the lights so I lowered the switch. Installer note : Each switch has (4) pins in the back Looking at the switch upright - the bottom pins are not connected to each other eternally = can’t use it as a “hot in , hot out” must make joints / pig tails This would be good if you had two circuits you wanted to turn on at the same time… just don’t overload

I installed one as a switch to my solar panels so I could disconnect them if I wanted to. The current was sometimes between 10 and 20 amps. After some time the switch stopped turning on. I learned that the 20 AMP rating is 10 amps through each side of the switch and I connected them together on a replacement and it worked fine. I took the switch apart and found out something of a safety feature: If you over load the switch for some time, the metal heats up, but instead of causing a fire, it melts a plastic part in the mechanics of the switch and it disconnects permanently.
