My problem began when I loaded the second roll of aluminum foil. The cutter didn’t cut the foil, it just bunched it up. It had worked perfectly before and I was mystified. That’s because I fed the foil through the slot on the top cover. That is only there to channel the cutter. The foil sits UNDER that slot, not THROUGH that slot! Oy! My bad! It’s working perfectly again! Gotta get a good night’s sleep!

My wife has purchased these dispensers four different times. She like them so well she purchased others for gifts. It is built sturdy. The slide is simple to use and makes a clean cut. To reload a new foil roll, just place it in the box and put the foil through the slot and your ready to start cutting a new sheet of foil. I recommend the dispenser.
