Good replacement for Remington, but it is not a one to one replacement. The size is smaller than the what you would you get with Remington, so that means, you will have to push the spring further in to twist lock the filter cover into place. But good value for money and would recommend it.

I find all of these replacement anode/cathode parts for copper pool ionizers to be WAY overpriced, and this one is no exception. However, it fits my floater, appears to be of high quality materials, and includes everything you need to relace your aging ionizer parts.

The purpose of a solar ionizer is to send a small electrical charge into the water through a copper rod which in turn kills and prevents the growth of algae. This is just the copper rod and basket to use a replacement for a pool ionizer. I have two different pool ionizers and was hoping this would fit at least one of them as both of mine originally came with different length rods and baskets. Since this rod comes with its own basket to match the size of the rod, it wound up fitting both of my solar ionizers. It also came with a wire cleaning brush. My ionizer is back up and running with a new rod and brand new basket.
