Meliora Cleaning Products Laundry Stain Removal SOAP Stick

This stick suds up well with just a little water and I love that there is no plastic to go in the landfill. The sticks works as well as other more chemical and plastic heavy products. I don't mind getting my hands soapy and it washes right off.

So it’s really just a unique shaped bar of strong soap, but it’s great!! This works so well for me. I pre-treat stains and then toss the clothes in the washing machine (sometimes days later). Seems to work really well. Air dry the bar and then just put it back on the original paper box for storage. Or, find a mason jar class for keep it in. And don’t get the entire bar wet otherwise you won’t be able to hold it well.

This is great. I love that I’m skipping the plastic bottle, the only packaging is a cardboard box. I tried it for the first time and it did great on stains. It even took out stains from my daughter’s dress that were older. Will continue using this product for my laundry.

I have to say I was skeptical when I first received this product because it just kind of looks and feels like a giant colorless crayon. I got to try it out the other day after my wonderful, sweet husband thought it would be nice to bring my clumsy self coffee in bed. Surprise! I spilled coffee on my linen duvet and didn't actually see the stain until 12+ hours later because it blended in so well with the pattern. Joy. So I laid it out on the floor and scrubbed this crayon/stain eraser all over the coffee spots... I was even more skeptical about how well this could possibly work because hardly any of the stick seemed to rub off on the cloth. Either way, I stuck it in the washing machine with some other clothes and used the meliora laundry detergent powder. The stain came out better than I was hoping and there is no residue from the strain remover on the duvet or the other clothes that got washed with it. I will definitely buy again, but because of how hard I scrubbed and how little of the stick was used, I imagine this stick **could** last a non clumsy, childless household a very long time. Definitely recommend.

I really like this product. It does seem a little inconsequential in size for it's cost and I don't think it works better than any other soap - I like Dr. Bronners, but literally just about any will do. It's probably worth it to buy a full size bar cost wise and it's not that annoying to have a bigger item to work with. You do have to get it wet to work it into stains also just like any bar soap. It does seem like you should get a two pack for the cost. I won't buy it again. It's nice but not a great value.
