For people who have Comprehension problems and willing to learn how to understand what people are saying to you. if you Never learned how to read between the lines.....I've never did.

This book is for GRADE 5 which is aged around 9yrs to 12yrs depending on reading levels.With that in mind the answer bubbles should be leveled to the sentence that goes with. If there is two lines for the sentence the bubbles should move down.The answer key doesn't always match with the detailed explanation.This was in the second lesson so far. Curious if there will be more.

I used this workbook for my 5th-8th grade LA classes. The skills were very good and the passages were well written. You also get online access to the book with interactive practice. Overall, a great resource for the price.

My granddaughters enjoyed using this book. 9 and 11.

Like keeping the kids skills sharp. I also used during the summer for a soon to be 4th grade who is advanced in Reading but needs more practice writing!

I'm a writer/editor and former language arts teacher, and I could never recommend this atrocious book. There are countless problems throughout the text that any competent proofreader should have noticed. Sometimes these are simple mistakes (like minor grammatical errors), and other times they are massive issues, such as incorrect responses in the answer key. Furthermore, the sample passages in the book (other than poems composed by actual poets) are often poorly written. It's difficult for children to improve their comprehension when the passages they read are choppy, poorly organized, and unclear.Also worth noting is that this book has two other reviews as I type mine. Both those reviews are for 5 stars, were written on the exact same day, and sound like the words of a marketing intern. Nothing fishy there.

I think that I have stumbled upon a gold mine, so to speak. Her is another product that ANY ELA Teacher would treasure! A multiplicity of engaging reading passages AND an online component that will provide hour of supplemental practice when needed!
