I really love this set. I hope it sticks around for longer. If you have textured skin - specifically pores, dont expect miracles. However, it doesnt emphasise them which is a major plus for me. The setting spray is one of the better ones too. honestly, a major bonus is the smell - Its sweet but not sacharrine

Not the best for oily skin. Smells amazing and looks good for the first hour or so, but not ideal for my oily skin. I was very oily after a few hours even after setting with powder a few times throughout the day. Would be better suited for Dry skin in my opinion

I love this product it makes my makeup last so long and really grip on to the skin. it gives a nice hydrated base for the makeup. I must say i have repurchased this product many times just makes my concealer under the eyes look flawless.

Best primer I've used, makeup goes on smoothly and sticks all day. Best of all the plumping does wonders for my eye bags and makes me look much more awake at 6am!

I love that you get a full sized primer and a travel primer, it's a great bargain! The smell is really nice but it goes away once it's applied and your makeup is on so it doesn't feel like those fragranced skincare products that give you a headache. It's not a super grippy primer but it does provide some grip to keep your makeup in place. I only use it under my eyes for my concealer but my concealer lasts nicely all day!

My Reasons for Trying This Primer I live in the tropical region and am a face sweater. My upper lip in particular sweats a ton, and makeup in that area always comes off nearly as soon as I put it on, leaving a lighter area above my lip compared to the rest of my face. This was my primary reason for trying this product. My secondary reason is that my days are full: I may go to work early in the morning and then attend events/outings in the evening/night, and I appreciate my makeup staying pristine all day without retouching. I also sometimes have to travel in vehicles without air conditioning and regularly attend events outdoors/without air conditioning. I chose this particular product because the ingredients are fungal acne safe, because it's mattifying, and because of its great reviews. Method The primer comes out of the tube as a jelly-like semi-solid. Rub it quickly between your fingers and it will turn into a more malleable, tacky liquid. Apply to the desired areas. It will feel tacky during application, and then dries down to be undetectable. Apply any products desired on top. My Findings I'm blown away. My upper lip makeup does not budge anymore. I went to the beach twice wearing foundation, and my makeup did not move (I kept my head above the water while swimming). It is mattifying without being at all drying. I find this primer to be reliable, and I definitely recommend for others to try. :) It's now a staple in my daily routine. I apply it to my upper lip normally (and maybe my lower cheeks where my foundation tends to lift); and if I have a long day ahead of me, I apply it more generally to my face and am always grateful for its effectiveness at the end of the day .

Absolutely love love love this primer. It was no longer on the Nyx Canada website and I could no longer find it in Walmart so I was so glad to see that Amazon had it. I purchased 5 and will continue to use this product for as long as they have it in stock. Foundation goes over this smooth and gives a flawless finish. It was the best dupe I ever found for Hourglass Veil and a better price point too.
