Very nice set. Easy to use. Hung a decorative wooden cutting board using one of these hooks on a drywall wall next to a door that shakes the wall constantly when used, and have had no issues with the hook used from this set. I would buy again.

Way better than I expected
Ordered these to hang my first larger picture in the living room, a Rat Pack photo that stands about 3ft tall and weighs about 10 lbs ... too much for the good ol' thumb tack, obviously, and of course no studs in the spot we chose to hang it ... so I start looking for drywall screws and stumble across these beauties and figure what the heck, if they don't work we'll find something else. These things are amazing -- they come in a few different sizes that are supposedly rated for certain weight ranges (which are clearly labeled: in the instructions for the pins, and the hooks are individually labeled). Installation is easy--the instructions recommend a hammer to get the pins into the wall but pretty much anything with a little weight to it (so far I know my multi-tool and the handle of a screwdriver work great) can be used to tap it a time or two to get it started, then your fingers can get them in the rest of the way without much trouble. For my 10 lb picture, I used the next rating up (15 - 30 lbs, if I recall correctly) -- you know, just to be sure -- and was impressed to see that each hook, held in by 1 pin, didn't budge when the weight of the picture was rested on them. They haven't budged in 3 months. And, to be clear, they are stuck only in drywall -- and they are probably sturdy enough to be hammered into a stud if the need arises. From there, I hung my shot glass display case (holds 36 shot glasses in slots, and I have a row sitting on top of it as well, so 42 or so) with them with 2 - 10 lb pins / hooks, and was pleased to discover that even the pins on their own can be used to hang smaller stuff, like clocks and key racks and stuff. Very versatile.I will say that I haven't removed any yet, but I know there will be holes ... even the smaller pins will probably leave holes a touch bigger than a tack would, but it's totally worth it for the amount of weight they hold. As far as decorations go, I don't see myself using anything but these anymore. Forget finding studs, it's faster and easier to just pop in a couple of these. Definitely recommended.

Not the best for saw tooth picture hangers
This product works best with wire. I bought this after watching an OOK video. Nowhere in the video did they address the fact that it doesn't work with every kind of hanging mechanism. Still a good product but better clarification is needed on OOK's part with regards to best uses. Does not work well with saw tooth picture hangers, and no guidance is provided regarding this. You can fiddle with your saw tooth by deforming it a bit so it could slide into the hanger, or you can hang your picture on the nail that juts out of OOK hook as opposed to the hanger...but then that would defeat the purpose of investing in an OOK Hook...wouldn't it now? Also, they no longer offer the shorter nails for the smallest of hooks, the nails are now one size fits all hooks...just a minor tolerable issue. I gave it four stars because the pictures they were used for were saw tooth backed, and the lack of guidance on this point...minor flaw but worth noting.

Easy and reliable
These are the only hooks I use now for my large frames and heavy pictures. Amazing how well they hold for small size.

Best hooks for plaster walls - no wall damage when using these
OOK hooks are high quality. I've been using them for years for picture hanging inside an old adobe home (built 1848). Other picture hooks almost always leave large craters in the plastered walls when they're removed. When I pulled out these other hooks, chunks of plaster came out also. I accidentally discovered OOK hooks at a store when trying to find something that doesn't cause damage both going in as well as out. After examining the design of the nails, I figured they'd be good for plaster. I was right. The small but very strong and sharply pointed nails penetrate the hard cementous plaster best of any picture hanging nail, and they pull out cleanly, leaving only a very small pencil lead sized hole. No plaster chunks come out with the pulled nails. Very strong. Highly recommend.

Easiest, Strongest Picture Hangers Ever
I've gone through dozens of these over the years.Ooks are so easy to use. No need for a drill.I've hung heavy mirrors, 30 lbs+ with no difficulty. The mirror has never fallen in the 2 years since it went up.When I moved out of my last apartment, the superintendent was astonished because she expected gaping holes in my walls having seen the things I had hung, instead there were only tiny little indentations. These are so easy to use, just choose where the picture will go, then you can either slip the nails in the hanger and hammer it in or you can place the hanger and slip the nails in then for more precision, then hammer it in.Taking them out of the wall is easy too. Just use a knife to pull up the edge and pull it out with your fingers. If it doesn't come out, pliers will work too. They didn't damage my walls and I was able to reuse most of them again when I moved into my current apartment two years ago. My friend used them in her plaster walls with no trouble or crumbling.I'll acknowledge they are a bit expensive, but so worth it. The only annoying thing is pictures that have mounts very near the top of the frame, the ook holder sticks out the top. For two wooden frames, I was able to add screw eyes and wire to hang the pictures lower down on the wooden frame so that the ook wasn't visible over the top, but you couldn't do that with metal.
