It depends on the width of the boards . The weight isn’t a factor but you’ll probably need to remove the fins.

The opening (distance fro top to bottom) is 10.5" and the length of the lower arm from the base to the end is 26"

Q: Can it be used near salt water?

Yes it can! It's powder coated to protect it. Of course, in time, the salt water will start to have it's affects but it designed to last longer
