Q: Does this have molasses like recharge?

Yes, there is some molasses in the formula but also there is a more complete sugar particle that we use for the formula called Turbinado. Turbinado contains some aminos as well as a molasses fraction. Plenty of carbohydrate for an explosive inoculation. In lab testing, Billions inoculates 8-10x faster than recharge and other microbe products.

Q: What does TPS stand for?

TPS is an acronym for our original company name True Plant Science. In 2018, we changed it to TPS because we wanted to differentiate ourselves from another agricultural company that had a similar sounding name. Also, we like office space.

Q: Can this product be used as a starter for kitchen composting~?

Awesome question. Yes, Billions is a great digester, and it contains no pathogenic microbes - so it's safe for use around humans. We would recommend something like 1/4tsp pre diluted in an oz (or even 1/2oz) of water then poured on the starter compost pile. For bigger compost bins you can add more like 1tsp-2tsp of Billions.
