When purchasing a Kindle (to reduce eye strain and have something lighter than my phone), I looked at potential cases. I wasn't sure if I wanted one or if I was just going to have fun and put stickers on the back (I have some that I have been saving). There were some okay cases that were more of a stick-on style that I looked at. eh. maybe.When I FINALLY decided on my choice for Kindle, this cover popped up as an option (I hadn't seen before) and I grabbed it because I really liked it. I wasn't sure if it was a stick on type or an actual case. Figured I might have to return but I went for it.So glad I did! It is wonderful. It is form fitted. The Kindle slides in easily (just put bottom in first), doesn't interfere with the screenprotector. If I wanted to do stickers on back or kindle for when take out of case - I could. Has a pleasing texture - although the edges might have future wear & tear. The design is great with all of the different elements. There is a hint of pearlescent sparkle that you can't really see in phontos well. It just makes me happy every time I see it. It folds back easily and doesn't add a bunch of weight. I really can't express how much I love this.I find myself taking lunch breaks instead of working through on work days because of its siren's call to read and relax.If you like it in the picture (skull with flowers on a black background), I am reasonably sure you will love it in person. I love this case so much that I bought it again when I upgraded from my 7 year old Kindle to a current model that's slightly bigger and required a new case. It does everything I need it to do, keeps my kindle screen safe, adds almost no weight, and looks cool doing it. It's durable, too!

It's image is very nice. Great quality cover. I have 3 rambunctious kids so, yes I've dropped it and kindle is perfectly fine. Probably doesn't even know it had been dropped.
