Great converter has got me out of a Jam with the new ev tethered chargers at work

I purchased this item and it was perfect until we had the recent heavy rainfall, one I didn’t notice when first purchased that one of the end caps was missing and during the recent rainfall some water must have got onto it and every time it was used it ‘tripped’ the fuse breaker, I had my wall charger checked and the fault was confirmed as being with the lead.I contacted the manufacturer for a refund/replacement and was informed, quote “ Our adapters are not to be used in heavy rain, as with any other electrical charging appliance. The fault with your product is use-related, as opposed to manufacturing error.” Where do they thing we charge our cars??Would definitely not recommend this product & the manufacturer needs to make it clear that it should not be used in rainy conditions.

Connects securely at both ends and allows a standard tethered charger to be used on my Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Charging works perfectly, just the same as the supplied charging lead but much easier than digging the main lead out of my boot and using standard external power socket.

This didn't work on my car, so had to return it. The company dealt with it and gave a refund very quickly, so great customer services.

Good build quality but could not get it to work with my EV charger. Not sure if it was this or the charger itself. I have tried another one since and that also didn't work.

Item works well attached to my Type 2 Rolec wall charger to connect to my Mitsubishi Outlander.

There is no water proofing or lock so your type 2 plug fills up with water or can even fall out. This is because the lead hangs down and you plug the type 2 lead in at the bottom. Water runs down this adapter and straight into the type 2 socket which has no seal or lock/clip to hold it in. So if you have a loose fit it will also fall out and stop charging. It works other than this but I have to hang it over the wing mirror for the above reasons. Kept it as it's bailing out my wife's type 1 car that's charging from my type 2 charger.
