I have one set of SmartWool baselayer pants/top and didn’t want to break the bank to buy a second pair. I love these. I ordered the 250 weight for skiing in Breckenridge and they worked perfectly. I ordered an XL and both top and bottom were a little loose. I wear an XL in Athleta/Lulu. I prefer clothes to be a little loose versus snug so they fit they way I like. I will be buying another set next year when Amazon is restocked with all the colors.

This is a beautiful color, still love the feel of the fabric. But the one I bought a couple years ago fit perfectly, this one is longer and skinnier with longer sleeves. I kept it because it’s wearable, hoping when I washed it, it would stretch width-wise, but no. Sadly, it’s just tighter than I’d like.
