High quality, extremely accurate, nice case, definitely recommended! I've bought 3!
This is my 3rd CDI torque wrench that I've purchased from Amazon. This was bought to complete my set as I already owned the 1/2 and 3/8 sizes. I believe the heads are the only difference between these and the Snap on version. While I love snap on and have used snap on extensively along with craftsman and occasionally some husky brand stuff, these are absolutely amazing quality and accuracy for the price. I've recently installed a new clutch, brakes, rotated tires, and used this 1/4 size for torqing a slave cylinder to a transmission and some motorcycle and dirt bike maintenance. All torque wrenches have held up awesome and stay in calibration very well providing you zero them out when done, keep them clean, and store them carefully in their cases. I love that they come with a protective case and a certificate of calibration. If you like high quality tools and don't want to pay snap on prices definitely buy CDI. I haven't had any issues in 2-3 years, so that says a lot considering how much they are used. Plus, if they ever need recalibration I can mail them to CDI in Southern California for a reasonable cost.Others have mentioned that warranty is not effective if purchased through Amazon. I can't comment on that as I've never had a problem. Quality is hard to find these days, CDI definitely takes pride in their products and it shows with accuracy and durability!

Great value in a quality wrench
Dollar for dollar, this wrench is a winner. In terms of fit and finish, it is virtually identical to a Snap-on torque wrench I own, which costs nearly 4-times as much. The Snap-on wrench may be more durable in professional use, due to what appears to be a more robust ratcheting head, but any performance difference is not immediately evident. I also own wrenches manufactured by Craftsman and Gear Wrench and it’s clearly superior to either of those. The construction is all metal and the knurled handle provides a positive grip. Torque settings are laser engraved and easy to read, and the spring-loaded collar positively locks the wrench to whatever setting you choose. Another feature that I really like about the CDI wrench, is the fact that you can lock the ratchet. This is very useful when you’re using extensions, or dog-bones.In my opinion, there’s nothing not to like about this wrench. I just purchased it a short time ago, so I can’t speak to its long-term performance or durability, but I have no reason to believe, that with proper care, it won’t last a very long time.I think this is a great wrench for the money and I would certainly look to CDI for my next torque wrench purchase.

A Quality U.S.A. Made Tool
CDI Torque 2502MRMH 3/8-Inch Drive Metal Handle Click Type Torque Wrench, Torque Range 30 to 250-Inc Let me start off by saying this is an AWESOME torque wrench. Yes the price is high. Yes you could get one for much cheaper. But there are 2 HUGE reasons why this is a better torque wrench than most.3/8 drive with INCH pounds!!!! I cannot tell you how freaking hard it is to find a torque wrench in inch pounds with 3/8 drive. Every spark plug socket I've ever used is 3/8 drive and every inch pound torque wrench I've found is 1/4, which means messing around with adapters that throw off your accuracy. I'm not about that life. Speaking of which....It is ACCURATE! + or - 4% at this small of a torque range means when that wrench clicks you are right on that specified torque. This is critical for things like spark plugs, valve cover gaskets, oil pans, coil pack screws etc. Having something accurate you can trust is critical, and this tool meets the bill. The wrench itself comes in a blow mold case with the wrench itself inside along with a manual and the specific torque test results done for that wrench. The outside of the case says that CDI is a Snap-on company (which it is). That should give you an idea of the quality you are getting. Warranty is about average at I believe 1 year, but the beauty of a wrench like this is that it wouldn't be silly to get it recalibrated after so much use.Would recommend.

Almost 5 years of use, no issues
This is the nicest torque wrench I've owned, after almost 5 years of use on different motorcycles, on critical bolts it's been very reliable with a smooth click motion. It feels consistent. Would recommend as a tool you can "trust" without breaking the bank. Only complaint is the reverse/fixed switch stays in place but could be a bit firmer (easy to knock out of position).

Didn't work out of the box
50-150 in-lbs CDI. Received it only 1 day after ordering and returned it immediately today. The torque wrench didn't click nor produce a tactile feel at any of the settings on a bolt when trying it out for the very FIRST time. It tightened like a regular ratchet instead. Also, the plastic ratchet selector switch didn't lock at all in either of cw or ccw positions. Instead, it kind of floated when pushed left or right and could be moved quite easily. The ratchet mechanism itself worked properly, but the torque wrench did not. The inserted calibration sheet claimed that it was calibrated in April, 2023. Today is 11 AUG 2023. Between then and now, it failed to work, supposedly while sitting in the box or while being transported. The wrench arrived in a hard plastic, black case that was inside of a large, thin, unprotected paper mailer. The plastic case was not in any sort of wrapper nor was the plastic case taped nor sealed. The torque wrench itself rested in the oversized case (the case looked like it was utilized for longer torque wrenches as well since it was longer than needed and had two forward storage positions for ratchet heads). The inside of the case was not padded and instead consisted of the same molded black plastic. throughout. Not sure if this is how they package them when new, without a cardboard sleeve around the black case and not taping the case shut, but that's how it was received. It also looked like there was a smudge of grease on the outside label on the case. Not sure if it was used as the wrench wasn't scratched, but it was not unloaded to zero, either, so it might not have been new.I'll be looking elsewhere for a different in-lb torque wrench.

Accurate at a great price.
Really nice torque wrench. Short enough to fit into tight places. Very precise, company says accurate to +/- 4%, but the calibration certificate that came with mine was within +/- 1.5%. Only thing I didn't like was the switch on the ratchet doesn't have a positive detent, it's very easy to switch it when working in a tight spot, not worth removing a star though.

Nice little 3/8 drive torque wrench
Small, fits in tight places, nice distinct click, reversible ratchet, works as it should. Only complaint is I need my glasses to read the setting.

Loose ratchet lever
I had to wrap tape around the head to hold the ratchet lever in position. I should have purchased another brand.

Nice looking torque wrench.
When I was looking for the torque wrench, I tried to find one with the engraved scale, like Mac or Snap On. I'm afraid this laser printed scale will rub off or vanish over time and with use. I guess time will tell. For now it works as described.
