excellent lights i use these on my 4th floor balcony in Cozumel mx salt water and intense sun and they have been working flawlessly since feb 2017 i have tried several different types of lights but when you add salt air and non stop heat the lights just never lasted. The copper works well in the salt air and the small light functions perfect under my metal rail . i will be adding more sets to my landscape. if these lights can survive this environment then we have a WINNER

One of the sets I received was wound in such a way it was nearly impossible to untangle. Instead of unrolling from the end of the string it had to be unrolled from the beginning. Unfortunately, the solar panel was too large to pass through the rolls in the lights. I think the solar panel had to be added after the lights had been wound up. After an hour of frustration I finally got it unrolled and installed but now they don't light. The other one I received unwound easily and looks great. My advice, if you receive one that's difficult to unroll, send it back immediately.

I was skeptical about these lights, but they turned out to be pretty bright. After the initial charge they continue to emit warm white light for many hours. The ONLY REASON I gave them four stars instead of five stars is that they are a Chinese torture to unwind. Surely they could be shipped in a way that unwinding and placing them would be easier. Not light to read by, but enough to be seen from a distance and accentuate an item in a yard. Recommended.

these are not the first set of solar string lights I bought. However first time on Amazon, as previously direct from china websites. It started off badly with one set as the tangled mess when unpacking and trying to install them in my garden, took 55 minutes. it nearly drove me to insanity, as there is no need for them to be packed so insanely that the thin copper string tangle up as it did. The sedan set was fine. After one week both sets started showing issues with lighting up at night, however plenty sun, good position of the solar panels and all my other solar lights being lid. Now is week 3 and no life left. I have given up, can't even be bothered to ask for new sets as I just don't want the frustration to un-tangle and disapointment them not working again. Allow hours to untangle. Why oh why must it be wrapped around over and over again. The cord is so thin that it tangles so easily and once you have it untangled it will tangle up again. It's MURDER getting these undone. With that being said, after you jump for joy because they are finally put up and don't have to deal with the torture anymore, they look pretty fantastic. They are really bright and I went to bed after they had already been on about 5 hours and they were still as bright as can be. I would have given it 0 for the difficulty and 5 for how they look, hence the 3 stars - somewhere in the middle. Kill me now but I might get another pair for my back deck. I think I'll drink lots of wine maybe it won't hurt so much to untangle. Please for future purchasers change your packaging of this product!!!

This lights are not only cute,they are bright,and you can use them for so many things. My are hanging in old lanterns in garden like in wonderland.One of them worked immediately,the second needed a day of sun and now they are brighten my path.Two months latter the lights still are wonderful. I decided to buy the second set and I'm happy I did.I would love to buy some solar lights that are shorter too.(25 or 50 bulbs)???

I love these lights, so far. They are in my garden and you can barely see the string. 1 string came with the switch on and a dead battery. It is charging and working, just not as long as the others (4 all together) Still, I'm going to order one more set to complete the job.

These solar lights are amazing, especially for the price! They are not yellow as I expected but a nice, warm white. The copper wire is thin so gets tangled easily but it's pretty even in daytime and none of the bulbs broke after handling pretty roughly.
