Replaced our Sony and Philips
My 8yo and 4yo have had several kids' headphones over the years; currently they use the top-rated Sony MDR222kd and Philips SHK1000 respectively. With these HeadFoams, MarBlue has bested the market leaders and produced the best headphones in the house. In fact I liked the first HeadFoam so much I bought a second and tossed the others. First, and for the younger one most important, there is no slide mechanism on the arm. The advantage is that there's nothing for her to get her hair stuck in (then rip out and cry). The disadvantage is the HeadFoams only have two size settings: with pad and without. Surprisingly, without the rigid plastic frame this is less of an issue than I thought it would be, and both of my girls use it without the pad. The arm itself is a padded foam that, though shaped, can easily be bent or twisted. Having lost a couple headphones over the years to breakage (one was sat on and the other snapped like a wishbone during a fight between the girls), this is my favorite feature of the HeadFoams: there's nothing really to break. The speakers themselves are well-insulated and the foam is fully malleable, so no more unfortunate headphone snapping for us. This also means if the kiddo falls asleep in the car with them, you won't have to bend them back into shape later (ahem... Sony). And while we're on the speakers, they're actually pretty good. In my experience with kids' electronics, performance usually falls somewhere below color and design on the priority list. While the Sony has decent sound, neither of our old kids' headphones were as good as a comparably-priced adult set. The HeadFoams are. Now they're no Denons , but they produce crisp voices and clean music. Yes, they are foam-padded, but that's purely for comfort and does nothing for noise isolation or cancellation (which is helpful because I can also hear if they have the music too loud). Like the Sony and Philips, the speakers on the HeadFoams are throttled to about 85 decibels, or just under the volume of the kids running through the backyard playing. I actually wish there was a lower-db version, maybe 65db (conversational level), but I'll let that go. Cranked to 85db, hearing damage begins around hours 3 or 4. Fortunately even on their most lethargic days, the kids can't sit still long enough to watch movies or listen to music for that long. I noticed a few other reviews knocked the cord as being "cheap" and they deducted stars because they anticipate problems. Respectfully, I disagree. I'm giving it the 5 stars I think they deserve and will adjust down if there's an actual issue later, not just an anticipated one. Though the cord is not reinforced per se, it is almost identical in quality and attachment build to the industry-leading Philips and Sony models, and nobody has docked them for it. I'll update the review later if it becomes an issue. For now its only issue is not coming in pink... and that's according to the kids.

Great headphones for small child!
Excellent, soft folding headphones for toddlers! My 5 year old daughter loves these. She didn't like the other kinds of headphones she has used because they get tangled in her hair. These don't. These are soft and feel great on her ears, according to her. The music can't go too loud on these either, which protects her hearing, which I like! Awesome color too, just as pictured.

Nice Durable Quality with One Major Flaw!!
These are a great quality headphone. I bought them for my 4 yr old to use with his Kindle HDX but my 9 yr old enjoys using them as well. The cushions for the ears fit my 4 yr old perfectly but my 9 yr old says they work great for him too even though the cushion is technically smaller than his ears (but just slightly smaller). My only complaint it the little pc at the top of them that is removable. This is a great concept - to be able to adjust to different sz heads but the design is flawed!! This pc will fall out easily. I literally have to hold it in place when my child puts his headphones on. I would have preferred it to somehow lock into place so he doesn't have to have assistance when using them. Every time he removes the headphones or tilts them back.. Raises one ear pc up to hear me.. the pc falls off! BUT I WILL SAY THESE ARE AMAZINGLY DURABLE!! The can be twisted and stretched and maintain their shape!

Not as great as I had hoped...
These headphones are kind of neat. The sound if fine and they are lightweight. They are, no doubt, very safe for kids. I also like the "fitting" solution of the snap-on spacer piece. The material is tough and firm...not "foamy" or squishy at all...which is probably a good thing but a bit different than advertised. I am not as experienced with kids being that hard on the headphone body, which is what has been beefed-up on this item. Kids, in my experience, are more likely to damage the headphone cord...Just like every other wired headphone user. The cord and connections on these appears to be the same lightweight material seen on any other inexpensive pair. Perhaps a bit thicker than typical ear-buds. I don't expect them to last any longer than any other headphones I have provided for my 6 year old...but these cost considerably more. Once again, good headphones. Sturdier body. No problems yet. A little disappointed that the cord appears no more rugged than usual.

Great product!
I ordered these head phones for my niece and she absolutely loves them. I tried them out myself and the sound is crystal clear. Great product!!!!!!! It bends and goes back to shape very easily, it's comfortable on the ears and fits perfectly on her little head. I highly recommend it for kids.

Going to add my experience that these worked great for about 3-4 months and then simply quit
Going to add my experience that these worked great for about 3-4 months and then simply quit. I purchased a warranty so they will be replaced, which is good because my kid loves everything about these and often wears them around the house, even unattached to a music or video device. They are stylish, comfortable and the fact that it can't play too loudly is great because my child does tend to play with the volume control and then gets upset when it's too loud. In short: it's a fantastic product that break too quickly, which is a shame.

Indestructible headphones so I never have to hear a surpise egg opened again!
Absolutely love these indestructible headphones! After buying my 5 year old a new pair of headphones every other week so I didn't have to listen to another surprise egg being opened I was tired if wasting money on cheap products. My daughter always picked the ear covers off so they hurt her ears or on one of the many occasions she left them on the floor they would get stepped on and snap. These headphones are flexible so I don't have to worry about them getting stepped on and she has had these headphones a year now and hasn't managed to get the ear padding off yet! I was concerned that they weren't adjustable in size but the handy insert for smaller heads has worked great!

Bought these for my 8 year old grandson for his birthday. The first set were faulty but they were quickly replaced and they are very good. He is thrilled with then. They are strong and the sound is regulated for little ears. You also feel if they were trodden on they wouldn't break. They are also adaptable for head sizes. I would recommend them for children.

I purchased two pair of these for my two little grandies, who love them.... They are bendy, colourful, comfy on their little heads, and the boys can read or play their app games in peace and quiet....I thought the gift was for the grandchildren, but their mummy say's she now enjoys the piece, and quiet at set limited times, the children have on their games, iPad etc..... Both mummy and daddy praise the gift highly.

Meine Tochter hat diesen Kopfhörer fast täglich benutzt. Leider trat nach ungefähr einem Monat ein Wackelkontakt beim Stecker auf, der ein normales Hören unmöglich machte.

Not suitable for 3 year old ones as it says. Very bulky and not soft I it says.

Great for my little one aged 2, he can twist and turn them and they bounce back.
