make grafting much easier.
Very sharp and my grafting success increased significantly. This is my go to tool when grafting. I use whip and tongue style of grafting and has lots of success.

Terrible product - broke after first use
This was not a durable product, broke when I used for the first time. Would not recommend buying. There is no easy way on Amazon to get a replacement or refund, I am being asked to call a number listed on the product page.

Great tool for hobby grafting
As for dislikes, lack of detailed instructions. This tool does a good job of making quality whip&tongue grafts,a bit of acquired skill is necessary for small diameter scions(keeping tension with thumb on scion) It is important to be sure to re hydrate dry stock to preserve sharpness but blades are easily resharpened,A skill anyone attempting grafting should possess. All in all a good tool for the money ! I will not say equal to others costing 3 times the money but adequate! As for edge durability,if blades were harder to keep edge longer they may break if dropped so this is a acceptable compromise.

Very sharp, be careful when using and handling.
Worked perfectly. Watched some YouTube videos on grafting and was able to figure out how to use this. Was able to graft 30 cherry trees successsfully and the new growth was phenomenal.

Blades become damaged after a few dozen cuts.
After making only a few dozen cuts of scionwood and stock (all wood) the blades became damaged. Would be a somewhat useful tool if blades were made from better steel. My original review made after making only about a dozen cuts is below. Scions under 1/4" bend as they are being cut, so that the surface of each is domed in the center. I believe my freehand cuts would provide a much higher graft take percentage than this tool would produce with scions under 1/4". Also forget about making the "V" cut with this tool. I believe it will provide at least equal grafting success to my freehand grafts using whip and tongue grafts, where both the stock and scion are 1/4" to 3/8". The only real advantage in those situations is that I don't have to switch back and forth between grafting knife and pruning shears. Also, mine came labeled as Sono J60, with virtually nonexistent instructions. About 10 minutes practice with some unimportant scions should educate you. Slide the scion further toward the end for a more gradual angle, and remove the extra blade that comes mounted on top - it gets in the way. For the price I can't justify more than 3 stars. If it were only $20 I'd give it 4 stars.
