Just arrived today and used for it for a homemade chicken rub for my pellet smoker. Made it fast, simple, and easy to shake on about 4 lbs of thighs and legs. I love it. Lid fights tightly. Plastic is firm, not flimsy. PS - use a regular sandwich bag to cover and seal it for moisture for any leftover run. Works like a charm. Happy Smoking!

I use this to apply DE/Boric acid to carpets or outside in my gravel yard for pest.

I purchased the shaker for crushed red pepper. The shaker is well made, but to optimize freshness of crushed red pepper, a shaker must include a closed lid. I failed to read the description carefully. For anything that does not need a closed lid to preserve freshness, I recommend the shaker.

For sprinkling my baking soda that I use for cleaning, laundry, etc. Will order more.
