I have been a professional wallpaper hanger for over 40 years, and I love this stuff! This is easy to use, lasts a long time in the can, and aids in being able to move the paper into position, it also helps when you remove the paper, it keeps the glue from sticking to the surface of the wallboard, sheet rock, etc. It sticks to this! This is basically clear paint, you can paint over it ,if you wish. I use it in all my jobs, Wallpaper supplies have become hard to find, in small quantities, so I was glad to find it here! One thing, though,Amazon needs to find a better way to ship it, one of my orders didn't arrive do to some mishap, and the other arrived with the lid loose, causing it to spill in the box it was shipped in. I was able to salvage most of it, so I didn't complain.But, Amazon, please look into a better way to ship paint cans! Shrink wrap, tape the lid down, extra bubble wrap?

Had a ceiling in my house I have wanted to use the tin ceiling look wall paper on for years and tried some time ago with no luck, just couldn’t get it to stick. Recently had the opportunity to redo this room and found this product. What a difference it makes! I had no problems getting that paper up this time. I used it in conjunction with the Gardner Gibson vinyl over vinyl wall paper paste. Turned out perfect!

Do not order from this vendor. I ordered it twice and product is no good.

I have hung wallpaper for years and wouldn’t dream of doing so without prepping with Romans! It only takes a few minutes to apply (just like any primer) but it leaves a slick coat on the wall that makes repositioning during hanging a breeze! But, most importantly, if you need to remove the paper at a later date; it will easily come off without any damage to the drywall! Couldn’t find locally - thankfully Amazon came to the rescue!

I consider myself a pretty knowledgeable and experienced DIY wallpaperer, although I haven't wallpapered for many years. Perhaps products and procedures have changed, but I always thought you should size your walls before wallpapering. I used this product over my Benjamin Moore painted wall. I waited a few days and then proceed to wallpaper with a universal wall paste. I don't know if it was the glue or the primer that caused the reaction, but I was struggling with bubbling and when I slowly pulled away the paper to re-position, the primer stuck to the wallpaper and pulled away from the sheet rock, damaging the wall. I did not even get one piece of wallpaper up because I then had to go back and do extensive sheetrock repair to the wall. I am now at a standstill and have decided not to proceed.
