Supreme Tamiya engineering
Tamiya have done it again and produced another kit that goes together like a dream. I literally can’t think of a single fault with this kit. No flash. No pin marks. Good instructions. Straight forward assembly, yet complex enough to present a challenge. Just a good model kit of a cool subject.

The kit goes together without a problem and the figure is the newer type of figure with locating "pins". A really nice modern build. A quality kit.

fiddly turret
A bit more fiddly than other Tamiyas that I have built - particularly the turret

A few parts were quite difficult but eventually succeeded. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Some of the parts are very, very small but achievable.

Hellcat model, review
The Hellcats and M10 tank destroyers were a vital part of the Allied armies after DDay..the model is detailed and has clear instructions, and crisp moulding, as you would expect..1:35 scale is perfect for detailed diorama s..this model would look good on a large diorama with a Sherman and some figures, and background ruins..

M18ヘルキャットはAFVクラブとアカデミーから出ているのが有名ですね。 そのまぁ昔からあるのと再販もよくあるので、ちょいと疲れが出ているのがタミヤから発売され作りやすく精密に仕上がりになりました。砲塔側面のバスケットも細くキレイな表現。 ただ不満点もあります、デカールが二種類しか無くそして全てイタリア戦線のみとなっている事です。社外品でヨーロッパ戦線のデカールも販売されてますがいつ販売されてるか分からない、海外のデカールの質はどんなだろうと不安になる模型ユーザーさんも居るのでせめてイタリア戦線と北ヨーロッパ戦線特にバルジの戦いに参加した車両の1種類ずつには出来なかったのかなタミヤさん。 最近タミヤは、精密に作れますよを前面に出して、デカールの個性が無いように感じます。まぁアスカモデルみたいに最初からデカールのパターンが一つしか用意されてないメーカーもありますが。 ライフィールドみたいに6種類も用意して下さいとは言いませんが3種類位つけて下さい。それと車体の側面や後部に乗っける装備品のパーツをm4a3からつけて下さい。車体だけは寂しいので若しくは米軍戦車装備品orバッグセットを作って下さいドイツ軍ばっかり新製品で出さないでもっと米軍やイギリス軍のものとか
