I recently used the "Medical Assistant Exam PREP" book to prepare for my medical assistant certification exam, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. This was a great study guide for the AAMA medical assistant test

So far I have only read the first and second part of the book. It is broken up in 4 sections. The first part is basically an introduction and goes into detail on information about the different types of certification exams and what to expect. The second part is meant to teach you how become better at test taking if you are not comfortable with. The mini quizzes after each chapter is very helpful and the answer are found right after the test with the answer and explanation on why that is the right answer. Part four is huge test over everything and also has answers and explanations at the end of the entire test. I highly recommend !!

Explains it very well I’m able to comprehend it better than when I watched the videos for my classes online. Worth the money and time. I feel more confident after reading this.

Going through and studying but they don't include the answers to the tests in between chapters like it states. The practice test answers are for the end and don't include what you're reviewing. Was disappointed. the information in the book is worth it though because it sticks to what you need to refresh yourself on for the test.

Haven't really use buy it is really, have good quizzes, I'm 100 percent sure that I will pass my exams this time.

Loved how this book had chapter quizzes and a test to take at the end. I aced my certification test. The one thing that is bothersome is the role a MA is in the book. I have been a MA for 24 years and haven’t had to do about half of it. But this is the case in almost all of the books available

Thanks to this book, I passed my test. Along with taking practice test and reviewing my notes, this was the icing on the cake. This book puts all you learned in school into perspective and in layman's terms. Some of the questions that showed up on the test I would not have gotten correctly if I didn't review this book. This book helped me with some subjects I felt I was having issues understanding in school. Like i said, it really just puts it all in a nice easy to follow guide. I can't recommend this book enough.
