Great Eastern Naruto Shippuden GE-8676 Leaf Village Headband - Black

For those of you that are Disney XD'rs and your realm of anime is just that,and sorry this also includes Ego-dubbed anime of cartoon network. If you don't already know about cosplay or otaku, your gonna need to do a quick research on them both. Otaku, simply put, is Japanese for the love of modern visual arts. See wiki. This is a Naruto Cosplay piece, generally for teens-adults.(why? Keep reading ^_^) Purchased thru: Animewild Cosplay is foreign to most people in the US, but to be honest, it's the same spirit the die-hard football fans show with just about any football team. The idea of cosplay (costume-play) is to become the character and act like them. I imagine any cosplay designer poured his otaku love into making their design, this one included. A Genshiken episode about cosplay comes to mind as one of the club members is a cosplay designer. The quality is top notch and the forehead protector is aluminum(or stainless, im guessing) with a mirror like shine. Long tails to tie up, meant to be worn on the head/neck or tied to an arm. I highly doubt it will fit anyone's waist(todllers?). I would have to say that this is a great piece, I would have to frown on those who chose to buy this for roudy children thinking their kids will play with it without it tearing up. BTW I let my, then 6yr old, son play with my military helmet (kevlar) and he broke that too. Point is kids break things. Does that mean your little one will break this? Well it really depends on how much supervision you provide. If you buy it for them and they tear it up is it really the designers fault, or yours? As you probably have read from an earlier post, this will greatly help you with your Rasengan +2, and the likely hood of being labeled an otaku will increase +150. -------+------- Edit: 11/7/2013 item pictured is not the same as the item I recieved in Jan-Feb 2012.

WHEN BUYING: Always buy this product new and from the seller(s) who have Prime fulfillment by Amazon, buy from no one else, this will SIGNIFICANTLY reduce the chance of you ending up with a fake counterfeit version of this headband listed under the guise of this listing. BEND THE PRODUCT: Let's dive in, and I can tell you that this product is high quality and met my expectations. Though the picture in the listing may be deceiving, make no mistake, the insignia is not indented into the metal. Though it's a pain, these headbands ALWAYS COME FLAT, so that means you have to manually bend it to suit your forehead (or wherever you were going to wear it) in order for it to fit and not make the headband look like it belongs to a flat-foreheaded-alien; this is a good thing even though this process can take a while, but I guess some people do not get that you are supposed to bend this product to get it to fit. The bidets did not loosen or pop out when I bent the product to fit me, and the back is the same as the authentic blue version of this product. Now, it's true that there is quite a bit of extra fabric on the top of the headband, but I have a tall and wide forehead, so I did not find issue with this feature, and to be honest, all you need to do is fold the extra fabric back if it annoys you that much, and I have pictures of me doing so. COMPARE: I have a few pictures of this product, after I bent it to suit my forehead, next to the authentic blue version of this headband and a counterfeit version (both of which are still flat and not bent to suit my forehead yet). As you can see, this product is clearly much longer than it's blue counterpart, with it being a little over 50+ inches in total length. The ends of the fabric are ot stylized like the blue authentic headband. The featured product also plainly shows how much extra fabric appears on top when compared to the authentic headband, also. However, the backs of this headband and the authentic are the same.

Perfect! Best Naruto head band ive seen, the front plate is big, but not oversized, there's plenty of slack on the band itself, and I have a big head, and the insignia is very nicely engraved into the metal. There's no ugly black or white paint where the insignia is, its just metal so its accurate to the anime. Highly reccomend this product.

It's pretty cool but kinda small, the actual symbol and plate is only about the size of a dollar bill. Also dont be too rough with it, i tightened it down a little to hard and broke on of the 6 little things holding the plate to the band. Still looks coll and i like to keep it om my shelf, though being what it is, i think it has the ability for a cosplay if the buyer so wishes.

I was very impressed with the quality of this headband. You do have to bend the metal piece slightly to make it look more natural but the length of the fabric is perfect. It was very comfortable to wear.

I was very impressed with this headband! The only problem with it is that there is a bit of extra fabric up top, about 3/4 of an inch, but it hasn't gotten in the way for me TOO badly, but it could always be very easily trimmed, I believe. The fabric is also long and is therefore very easy to tie. Another problem is that it is a bit tough to bend the metal to be the shape of your forehead, but at least the metal is nice and strong. However: It was many days late, and Amazon said it never shipped... but it DID get here and it doesn't seem like anyone else has had this problem but me... it was worth the wait and don't let that stop you from getting this!

It was exactly as described! It's a " Great Eastern Headband " it's the headband that Naruto Uzumaki wore in the Shippuden series of Naruto, it's a replica of his headband. It's great quality, I love how the straps hang from the back of my head down to my back ( not all of the way, which is good, lol ) it's in great condition and well packaged as well, they even gave a nice bag with it! I was hesitant to order this headband, because of the 3 negative reviews and the scams that can happen when looking for this headband. Anyway, I can assure you that the 3 negative reviews are not true! I highly recommend this headband! Ty Halloween Costumes and Amazon! :)
