BTEC National Engineering Student Book: For the 2016 specifications

More of a revision book
The book contains a lot of knowledge and definitions, which would be useful to revise the course. However, this book is not useful as a tool for students to learn the content in the first place. There is too much information, few examples and very little practice in between.Unfortunately, there are not many alternatives available for this course currently, meaning that teachers have to source resources from A-level Maths or physics and adapt/create resources for this course.

Students studying engineering should buy this book regardless of the level you are studying at.
This book is written 5o support 5he BTEC national syllabus but I would suggest all students studying engineering should obtain a copy of this as it will serve you very well. Book has been a godsend for my son, is well laid out, clearly explaining concepts and fairly priced. Worth the investment.

Well worth buying
This book is excellent and covers the syllabus well although out of date, it gave me the prep I needed. It’s worth getting the btec national engineering book by Mike tooly also because it fills in the gaps.
